Declining Director's Selection . . . AGAIN?!

On two of my accounts they have sent me reminders for "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" as my Director's Selection even though I've already declined it on 12/20.

Has this happened with anyone else? When I log-in to the accounts there is NO Director's Selection pending, of course.

I'm reluctant to even click-thru the e-mail to decline it again.

Yes, me too. As it says, if you've already declined the selection you don't have to do any more. Just to make sure, I went to the site and confirmed I had no outstanding Director's Selections.

They're probably just trying to get you to sign in again (as I did) and maybe you'll buy something else (I didn't).

I declined via snail mail and still received the email - and it showed as being declined on the site - so, no - you are obviously not the only one!

Yes, I get those e-mails also. They are automatic and do not depend on whether one has already declined the DS, as I always have by the time the e-mails are sent out.

I've had this happen as well. I got the reminder although I'd already declined. Of note, I didn't receive the usual 'Decline Confirmation' email as a result.

This may be one that ships, I'll have to REFUSE then wait 3-6 weeks for a refund

I changed mine to bill me later mainly for this reason. Since then I have had none sent to me. It was getting to every other month for about six months.

I have 2 accounts, and so one time they send me 2 murder she wrotes and charge me for both. I call and get both charges reversed and send them back.

Then, THREE DAYS LATER, they send the same set out again and RE-CHARGE. I call, seriously annoyed, and they said to send the packages back when I recieved them. I only ending up getting one to send back, the other never arrived. They reversed the charges on the one account, but said when I called on the other that I was already reimbursed. Yes, I was reimbursed the first time, but not the second! Never got the money either, it was a nightmare.

I always decline the selections every month. I spoke to one rep recently and she reversed the charges, and said that since I never accept the selections she would turn off the automatic send feature on my account. I was relieved. But when I check the sites now, they always say "respond or we'll send...blah, blah, blah." So apparently this didn't work.
