Check your e-mails, free shipping

I just got a free shipping e-mail. If there is some way to extract a code, let me know how so I can share it with everyone.

Appears not to work with the current B1G1 offers. I click thru the e-mail and get, "DVDs at up to 60% OFF when you buy 1 at regular price + FREE Shipping on your Entire order".

I got the e-mail with the offer for free S&H plus 60% off all DVDs when you buy one at regular price. I had just finished placing an order before I saw the e-mail. Is there any way to cancel this order? I would definitely like to take advantage of the free shipping offer.

You can try to call Columbia House, 888-467-7404 has been reported to work recently. Or you could e-mail them at [email protected] and ask that the order be canceled. The first e-mail response may be a canned reply, the second one often actually gets read by a real person. But e-mail takes time.

You may find it difficult if the order has already been "sent to the warehouse". They might also tell you that they don't see the order on your account yet.

Thanks! I used this in conjunction with the "buy one, get the rest at 60% off" deal. Since I've already fulfilled my account, I used it to get some cheapies I've been meaning to get.

Wonderland $5.98
Where Eagles Dare $5.98
The Squid and the Whale Special Edition $19.95
Total Recall Special Edition $3.98
The Way of the Gun $3.98
Jane Doe $3.98 (My screenwriting teacher wrote and directed it)
Jacob's Ladder Special Edition $3.98
Galaxy Quest $3.98
The Cooler $3.98
Assault on Precinct 13 Special Edition $3.98
An American Werewolf in London Collector's Edition $3.98
Truly Madly Deeply $3.18
Shallow Grave $3.18
The Limey $3.18

There's tax in my state, so this deal in conjunction with my other purchases bring the average price to $5.36. Not too shabby. I also have $30 in funcash now...

They were just the default offers on my accounts. I logged in today and they are gone. All I get now is "Buy 1 at regular price and get the rest @ 60% off" -- or "for $9.95 each". No FREE shipping either.

I would bet there's another B1G1 coming up soon in the next few days. They usually run thru the weekend.

Thanks for that # Lizard. I actually got through to a person straight away and they applied the 10% extra off to my order. Very nice change of pace for CH customer service.
