CH waiting for pre-orders before shipping the entire order.
So I guess this is something fairly new at CH, that they won't ship an entire order until the pre-order(s) become available. I read somewhere that people have been abusing CH in the past, cancelling the pre-orders after the other DVDs show up, and I assume this was abuse of the B1G1F sales. But this is just a joke.
I made an order in January, not knowing of CH's new policy. Anyway, A History of Violence was one of the pre-orders, and The 40 Year Old Virgin was one of the in-stock titles. I actually had two pre-orders and two in-stock titles for this order.
So all this time I've been waiting for my order, 40 Year Old Virgin had gone from new release to available for enrollment. And the first title I finally get? A History of Violence. The two that have been in stock for months still haven't arrived, but I get the pre-order first.

same here! I ordered the justice league season 1 and batman beyond (per-orders) along I got the free selections to be harry potter and wallace and gromit but the haven't ship anything yet since like a week ago or more.
My only guess is that my account hasn't been updated yet but then again I got a feeling that they are waiting to ship everything together.

I placed a BOGO order to complete my account requirements.
Pre-Order: The Triangle
Pre-Order: Aeon Flux
Free: Four Brothers
Free: Must Love Dogs
Order was placed 3/4. My free items arrived 3/8. My confirmation e-mail states that the two pre-ordered items would ship seperately. Maybe my account is in good standing since I have never, ever abused a single account with them.

They've been doing this for awhile (since Jan), at least that I've noticed on my prior accounts. There was a thread about this awhile back and the reasoning was that some people were cancelling the order after receiving their free selections, so CH made a policy change.

I called/emailed them about this since this happened a while back on a new account and I was told that it is their new policy on "newer" not so established accounts. On my 1 account which I've had open for over a year they've never done this to me during any of the bxgx sales.
So, I would suggest having an account open with a history if you want to definitely avoid this happening to you.

I got an account approved on Feb 6, then made 2 B1G1 orders (this was with the code that wouldn't allow multiple B1G1 on the same order, and I had to pay for shipping) on Feb 12, one with Scooby-Doo Dynomutt Hour and one with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 2-disc (both being pre-orders) and I received the free titles a week or so later and then the pre-orders in the last week. And I certainly haven't had perfect accounts, with items I didn't receive and prices not showing up right.

I placed a fulfillment order a few weeks back with the current B2G2 w/free shipping deal. The two "buys" were pre-orders (She-Spies and Tales from the Crypt III). The free selections were Corpse Bride and Where the Truth Lies. These two sat in "awaiting credit approval" until She-Spies was released last Tuesday. Now all but TFTC are in "pending" status. I assumed that they wouldn't ship the free titles until I had actually paid for something on the account (beyond the enrollment charges).

Just a little warning. This situation has happened to me twice. I ordered with the B1G1F and Free shipping. They shipped my free titles, but of course had to wait on the preorders. I was charged shipping on all dvd.
