confirmation e-mail

Hello everyone - I placed an online application yesterday at noon (CST). I have not yet received an e-mail confirming receipt of my application. I know people have said CH doesn't always send an approval e-mail if your application goes through. However - if I haven't yet received an e-mail confirming receipt of my application - am I to assume that it did not go through?

I just got the "Welcome to the Club" e-mail, but I never did receive the confirmation of my application e-mail. Give it a couple of days and you'll probably get the "Welcome" e-mail too.

No, it routinely takes a couple days (business days) minimum.

I think he's referring to the 'Thank you for your application' not 'Welcome to the club'. I think I've always gotten the 'Thank you' e-mails right away

Yes - I'm speaking of the "Thank You for your application" e-mail - I have not yet received one - am I to assume it didn't go through?

If I apply by phone - is there a chance I can get a membership # in time to use the B1G1 offer that expires on 3/24?

As I said in my first post, I never seem to get the "Thank you" e-mails. However, I always get approved. I wouldn't assume that your application was lost. You applied just a couple of days ago and on a weekend. I would give it another day or two before getting too worried. BTW, did you use a credit card to pay for your enrollments? If you did, you can check and see if CH has a hold. If they do, then your application wasn't lost and if the charge actually went through, then you've been accepted.

I just got an 'Order on its way' e-mail. But the DVD was shipped on 01/31. Go figure.

No - I used LMT - which doesn't require/ask for a credit card.

Do you have another 5/6/7 titles you want as enrollments? I would not re-apply for the same enrollments (yet), but submitting an application for another set of enrollment titles might not be a bad idea.

Phone applications are more likely to get approved (well, less likely to get lost), but much slower in getting you an account number (you won't get it by the 24th, unless you can find a CSR to obtain your acct# -- I've personally had little success with that). So I would not recommend applying by phone if your sole interest is using the active B1G1 codes.
