really a 4 week wait?
Hello - I submitted 2 different DVD CLub applications to different addresses (I did so online) on Tuesday night. One e-mail approval came Thursday morning -but I haven't heard on the other one yet (except for an e-mail confirmation of my application). If I call CH, will they be able to tell me the process of my application? I called once and they said it could take 4 weeks to approve - but that sounds extremely long.

I called them yesterday about the status of an account application I sent 2 weeks ago and they said to wait a few more weeks. I'm pretty sure I didn't get approved but I guess I'll still have to wait for at least 2 more weeks before applying again.

^Two weeks ought to be plenty to see if one has been accepted. But to be safe, I would suggest trying a new application with different enrollment titles, so that you don't get duplicates.
Calling in to find out the status of an application has mixed results, depending on which CSR you happen to get. If you don't get a reasonable answer from the first CSR, try calling in again.
It helps to use a code that requires a credit card. Then you can see if a charge for the correct amount appears. If it does (real charge, not a temporary one), you have been approved. And if no charge appears in two weeks, it is highly likely that the application was "lost" or declined, for whatever reason.

^Recent reports suggest that the limit of two open accounts is no longer being enforced. So it is, indeed, possible that a second and third account might be approved.

How do they enforce memberships? By address? Name?
Also - something weird happened - I enrolled using code K7L and when I got the approval e-mail for the application that has worked so far, I went into the website to order my enrollment fulfilment selection - and it said my enrollment obligation was complete.

I recently fulfilled all open accounts using B1G1, but I want to make sure I get at least one new account opened while the deal is still going. I applied for a new account on Tuesday, but haven't received the "Welcome to the Club" email yet, should I apply for another (or two) with different selections to increase my chances of getting a new one opened before the B1G1 sale ends?

I use 1-888-242-3837 when I want to speak to a CSR.

What's the B1G1 offer? All I saw on the website was buy 1 get one at 1/2 off. Is there another order?

So far as what number to call, from the FAQ thread at the top of the forum:
