Funcash Strategies

Anybody have any ideas on maximizing the use of fun cash. I have like $57, would like to figure out how to get the best deal.

Well count box sets out since using fun cash on them is pointless when you can buy them somewhere else for the same price. I think the best way to utilize the fun cash is to get releases that are hard to find good prices on. I had $23 fun cash that I used on Batman Begins Deluxe, I couldn't find that under $20 shipped. Things like that.

I know you are only suppose to be able to use up to 10$ on boxsets..but I just had 11..and was able to spend all 11 on a boxset..

Maybe a glitch?

Best thing to do is, if you have a CH.com account, transfer it there (free shipping on everything, including box sets) although I haven't had much like with that lately.

On some of the more expensive box sets you can use more than $10. I think it has to do with how many commitments each set counts as. I know that I was looking at a set that counted as 2 and it would let me use up to $20 on it.

What I always do with my funcash is get DVDs that aren't elegible for enrollment.

Use it on 2-disc Warner sets that will be $20 in stores. Network, Midnight Cowboy, Dog Day Afternoon, and All the President's Men are all coming out over the next few weeks.

you can use more then 10 in funcash on certain box sets not due to how many it counts towards, but b.c of how much it costs.

Is it still possible to transfer funcash between accounts? I thought CH stopped doing this a few months back. Anyone lately had success transferring funcash? Thanks

I haven't tried much lately, but it certainly doesn't hurt to try.

Not exactly lately, but I was able to transfer some mid/late-December. I spoke with a nice American csr who said that transferring funcash was against CH policy but that they were making exceptions as the 2005 redemption period was drawing to a close.

As joltman suggested, it doesn't hurt to try, but as with all matters concerning CH, don't get your hopes up

I just had a funcash transfer done about 2-3 weeks ago..during the 4 for 14 deal. I think if you ask enough people someone will do it, I jut got lucky on my first ever time asking. Later in the week I was denied.
