yes. but there are other DOTD prices such as 7.95 for American Pie Ultimate Edition. So really it is any unusual sale price (based on the normal sale price for that "level" of dvd).

Aren't most of them Universal dvds? What other studios are used as DOTD?

K-19 is a Paramount title. Past DOTD titles include the Bond movies(MGM), the Star Trek movies(Paramount) as well as some New Line/Warner titles(Texas Chainsaw Massacre,LOTR-Two Towers,Enter the Dragon). Most of the current titles are from Dreamworks/Universal.

I did 5 orders back to back. Looks ok but the last one is all ****, so maybe 4 a day is all you should try? Also I noticed I could add one, then check out and get it for free. Didn't have to add anything else, then delete. I used 804049.

Edit - ok, the *** went away a while later on the 5th order. I have 5 accounts....wondering how hard should I hit them (they did screw me on the fatcash.....over $500 worth...).

I know what you mean! 6 months ago, I probably would have only 'taken advantage' of 1 or 2 of these titles. I had several hundred $ in funcash when they abruptly changed the rules and, as far as I'm concerned, "the gloves are off".

Don't you guys ever get tired of ranting about the great Funcash ripoff of '05 ?!?

Does it need to get dragged into every CH thread?

You consider that a 'rant' ?!? ?!? ?!?

Or under 'the rules according to Peep' are we not allowed to use the phrase 'Funcash' anymore, except in a positive light?

Yeah, I was worried when those *** showed up on my last order under the order history and be changed to the full price, but it eventually showed up as free except for the .99 shipping.

1. Fulfill your membership obligation
2. Enter savings code 804049
3. Place the "$0.99" title in your cart
4. Place a more expensive title in your cart
5. Remove more expensive title from cart
6. Checkout
7. If you're buying more than one, just put the $0.99 title in the cart, as you don't need to repeat 4 and 5 if you are still logged in after the first checkout

Yes, you probably didn't enter the offer code first (804049). Also, make sure you're using a fulfilled account to get the 99-cent shipping.

EDIT: Oops, SFranke's just too quick!

I wonder. Surely this is a bug in the Columbia House website programming and will be corrected at some point. But we have seen this glitch before and here it is again, so who knows?

I took some time yesterday and used the link for DVD's under $15...i went thru every page of the entire alphabet looking for possibilities, but found no more. It appears to be so random though, especially with the American Pie Ultimate Edition working while being a much higher priced item......so who knows

Excellent, clear instruction! but this is just a heads up: after inputing the code, there's no need to add a regular priced title first...i just enter the code, then search for titles that have been listed, and add directly to cart, or just use the deal of the day link to add to cart. It's worked for me every time

The BOGOF codes typically tend to make all DVDs full price. You buy one DVD at full price and get one free. It really isn't that good a deal except when purchasing fulfillments (which are usually bought at full price).

The fact that certain DotD selections have a "full price" that is the same as the sale price is part of the reason they can be purchased for free. It is a glitch.
