Fun Cash - Is my logic right here?

Ok, so with a triple fun cash code on a fulfilled account at CH.com, you get $6 for each dvd purchased.

They have tons of dvd under $6, some under $3. Isnt that basically getting these dvd for free? I mean, I can use the funcash for box sets, etc. And then you throw in free shipping.

Am I looking at this right?

Yes. However, keep in mind that you won't be able to pay for box sets with just Funcash, and if you were to buy a regular DVD, the Funcash would apply to the regular price, not the sale price.

By the way, what DVDs are you finding that are under $3?

IIRC, DVDs bought for under $5 do not qualify for Fun Cash.

No.

Funcash use is limited for boxsets. Plenty of threads on this.

You always pay full shipping on funcash orders, NO free shipping, ever.

With a new membership, you'll average $5-7 per dvd. Paying $20 for a dvd just to get $6 funcash is a terrible deal.

It is. I recently made a funcash order using my CH.com account, and shipping was indeed free.

I am refferring to buying $5.99 dvd at CH.com where shipping is free.

I know, but if I am going to buy the box set anyway, 40% off Bewitched for example is like $24, use $10 fun cash and its $14 with free shipping (at ch.com)

By the way, what DVDs are you finding that are under $3?
American Street Fighter - $2.97
Ancient Warriors - $2.97

There are several more. Keep in mind I am looking on CH.com. Click on the $10 and under link.

According to my cart at CH.com, they do, or at least they are for me.

My bad, sorry.

I don't do the ch.com thing, and I obviously didn't read the first post carefully enough.

Those prices are what CH.com calls the Sale Price. The Reg Club Price for American Street Fighter is $4.95 and that is what your FunCash will be applied against. I have $1 in Funcash on CH.com and if I use it to get American Street Fighter it will cost me MORE than if I didn't use FunCash and just bought it for the $2.97 Sale price!

From CH.com FunCash details:

FunCash is applied against an item's regular club price, with the exception of multi-unit sets (3 or more discs) where FunCash can be applied to the already discounted price (special club price). (Please note: FunCash cannot be applied to tax, if applicable, or to shipping and processing charges.)

Yeah. The OP wants to buy these to earn Funcash, not use Funcash to buy them.

Ahh, ok. I think I may be getting too old to keep up with these FunCash strategy threads!
