What do you mean unless you got banned? They aren't going to ban you before you fulfill your account.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the pre-order Dirty Dozen CE works as a free title. I picked up John Wayne/John Ford Collection ($59.96 = 3 fulfillments for 8 movies) + Dirty Dozen CE (free) - $5. Almost $10 shipping is the suck, but these two combined with the six enrollments for a total of about $67 shipped is a pretty damn good deal just the same.

Also, the code for me came up as 3 free titles when you fulfill. Obviously since I went for the one box I only got one free instead of three.

I used 6199 (didn't know about 6277) & my order disappearred a week later. 3-4 weeks later, it re-appearred - in 3 separate orders. And, no max on S&H of $15 - like when I placed the order.

Just FYI.

Well, I still don't know if my "ride" is over yet, but it looks like I'm coming out pretty good on it - as it stands now. My avg for the 20 DVD order went from $5.10/DVD to $4.34. Too bad I hadn't used the 6277 code, then my avg would have been even lower.

Trek of my ordeal - when I noticed my order re-appearring w/CHs' new S&H policy applied, I emailed CH complaining that I should be charged the $15 max that was in effect when I placed the original order. I went back-&-forth a couple of times - because respone kept being CHs' current S&H policy. After 4th email, I got response saying that my account had been credited. When I looked @ my CH account, the orders still showed the bloated $ totals, but the CC charges showed a decreased $ - the difference didn't match removal of S&H (even with tax). When I looked @ my CC activity, I noticed 19 credits for about $2.14 & 1 for $3.21 - along with the full $ from the bloated orders.

From the looks of it (based on dates), CH credited me the S&H before I even sent the 1st email. Too bad that responder didn't just say so w/out going into the song-n-dance about CHs' policy on S&H charges - would have saved me time & aggrevation.

aynrandgirl 05-24-06 05:27 PM

When using the B1G1F codes, does your qualifying item (i.e. not the free one) also count as a fulfillment?

the one that you buy at regular price does count as a fulfillment

kenbenobi 06-01-06 10:08 AM

I just got an email about triple funcash for 48 hours only, but it doesn't work in conjunction with BOGO codes, so screw it. BTW, most of the BOGO codes mentioned above no longer work. But 807748 still does.

blake182 06-03-06 12:16 AM

kenbenobi, thanks for letting us know that 807748 is still working, I was able to get 2 more DVDs and drop my ave. cost per DVD by 82 cents.

Depression 06-03-06 01:14 AM

As of right now 807748 is ineffective.

Was working about an hour ago.

Confirming that 807748 is not working now. I placed an order last night with that code and everything is listed as pending in my order history, so it seems to have gone through ok.

lizard 06-03-06 10:56 AM

It appears that Columbia House is making temporary codes ("48 hours") actually work that way. The days of general offer codes that can be used on all accounts for an extended period of time might be a thing of the past...

Anyway, 804426 is triple funcash for this weekend. Similar codes 804427 and 804433 were issued on May 31 and have now expired.

Well, hopefully we'll get more soon. Who knows, maybe 807748 will start working again next week? This code has died twice before, then suddenly started working again. I think CH is toying with us...

dadaluholla 06-06-06 12:06 PM

So there are no working codes right now? I was hoping to order Underworld.
:(

Jane2001 06-07-06 10:39 AM

Just got an email for BOGOF then get unlimited dvds for 50% off, good for the next 48 hours. The code is 801635

forgot to mention no free S&H

I got the same offer, but my code is 808935. BTW, CH has changed the look of their site. You have to click on the details of the default offer first before you'll see the "Looking for the offer in your mailing" link.

dadaluholla 06-07-06 11:49 AM

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I just checked my email as well and there is my BOGO offer.
:)

Oh and if people had a hard time finding the "Looking for the offer in your mailing" when it was on the front page, they will never find it now with this new design.

Should definitely add this info to the FAQ ASAP so there won't be people asking several times a week where to find the link.

Good spot. I got the b1G1 e-mail, but for a closed account, was trying to use the code from the URL on my current account, but didn't see the link in its usual place, and was afraid for a minute they had done away with it. Thanks.

Legolas 06-07-06 01:58 PM

FYI, I'm getting pre-orders to show up as the freebie.

lizard 06-09-06 02:49 PM

New BOGOF codes: 801636, 808936. My e-mails say they are good from June 9-10. YMMV.

John Sinnott 06-16-06 05:32 PM

mpaul39: Is your program still working? Everytime I try to access the codes list I get this:

Access denied for user: 'randomca_hp@localhost' to database 'ch'
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/randomca/public_html/ch/codes.php on line 19
The list is being updated right now. Please check back in a few hours.

It has been like that for the last few days.

lizard 06-17-06 01:32 PM

^It has been that way for the last couple of months. I believe that this is mpaul39's most recent post. He may be too busy to run his program.

John Sinnott 06-17-06 04:43 PM

Thanks Lizard, I missed that.

lizard 06-23-06 02:10 PM

No more BOGOF e-mails this week. Instead we got a less than thrilling offer to get a DVD for $5.95 when buying one for full price ($19.95 or more). It appears that just about all $14.95 titles are the ones on sale for $5.95.

Anyway, if you want to take a look at the offer, use codes 808908 or 804408. Sale ends June 25.

Hope this deal doesn't replace BOGOF in the future.

prikolist 07-01-06 11:25 AM

Any update, please?

legend42 07-02-06 01:54 PM

I haven't seen any deals at all in the past week, and I have about 4 different e-mail addresses that usually get flooded with deals from CH. Maybe they're waiting for a 4th of July sale...

lizard 07-05-06 12:33 PM

804452, 804454 are 10% off order.
804455 is Free Shipping for Four.
804456 is Free Shipping on orders over $50, 48 hour offer.
804457 is buy three at regular shipping get fourth or more with Free Shipping. Excludes sets.
804459 is Free Shipping on orders over $50. Excludes sets.

All of these offers may be time limited to the next couple of days or so.

kenbenobi 07-05-06 12:54 PM

I think the days of BOGOF and free shipping are dead forever... I think we've been spoiled. Now nothing seems like a good deal anymore...

lizard 07-07-06 10:29 AM

804464: ...Plus get FREE SHIPPING on your Entire Order! Offer does not include sets or other specially priced items

I received this as well and it states that you get free shipping on the 4th title and any title after that. It doesn't mention that you will get free shipping on the first three titles. At least it didn't in mine nor when I went into my account and read the details there. Who is going to buy 3 dvds on one account anyway without any incentive not to buy elsewhere for less?

Sweet Baby James 07-10-06 11:33 AM

The older BOGO codes are working as of now-807747, 807748, 807749, 807750 & 807751. The shipping is a little cheaper too. It used to be $8.96 for 4 DVDs. It's now $6.97. Credit goes to cool new member thewrite1.:)

That is very great news! I'm on my way.

CmC918 07-10-06 01:26 PM

Hope these work later this month probably not but the DVD's I want to get they are not out yet and they don't work for pre-orders.

dsa_shea 07-10-06 01:39 PM

Thanks for those new codes. There's finally life at CH and a reason to buy!!!!

You cannot take a preorder as a freebie, but you can take a preorder as the full priced title and take an in-stock item as the freebie.:)

supfool! 07-10-06 02:20 PM

To anybody wondering about the shipping, it applies free shipping to the rest of the titles after the third title you buy. So that's pretty rad.
