That's the enrollment package when using the second best enrollment codes (see - http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=355622) where you choose 6 for 49 cents each and then purchase 3 regular priced DVDs within 2 years or purchase a 7th movie when enrolling for $9.95 and only need to buy 2 more in the future (hence either 6/3 or 7/2).
Then, once you have an account number you go to www. columbia house.com/webdvd and signup/login. Once logged in you enter the 807752 code in a popup box that comes up when you click on the main page where there is a link up towards the left saying looking for the offer in your mailing. Then you place whichever titles you are interested in in your cart and the 10% off is automatic with this code and the $5 off kicks in once your total reaches $30 (excluding shipping/tax). Note: sometimes you have to fool around with the order of the DVDs in your cart to get them to show up as free. |

Came out to be $15-$16 bucks for s/h, so I decided to not go through with it. |
806052 - 10% off WishList sale (got this by email today) and used cURL
"Get Unlimited DVDs at up to 60% off when you buy 1 at regular price. Plus get 10% Off your entire order!" |
Has anyone tried contacting customer service to have the shipping charges adjusted?

im using the 806277 code, which is 60% off everything. but, for some reason the Crumb dvd shows up as 14.++, and the list price is 19.++, i dunno whats going on.
|
FWIW, I noticed that 806277 drops The Princess Bride: SE to $3.18. Shipping makes it not as much of a deal: $3.18 + $2.99 = $6.17. Still cheaper as an enrollment. (This change away from 99¢ preferred member shipping is a PITA.)
(And, yes, I am aware that the price drop for this DVD is because there are new SEs out.) |
It appears as if the 806277 code is now obsolete.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new codes will include a free shipping one |
I just tried checking randomcafe, and it said the list is being updated right now and to check back in a few hours! So hopefully he'll find some new codes for us!!!
|
I've had that same message for a couple of days now. Hopefully it'll be up and running shortly.

Yeah, sorry, there's some problem with the server that hasn't been fixed...maybe I'll move the script to a different site when I have time. Meanwhile I've just been manually running the script every once in a while.

They haven't had a free shipping code that has actually worked in months... and, oddly enough, I haven't made a purchase in months. :)
When they decide to do a free shipping promotion, I have a full cart ready to go. In the meantime, I wait... |
thanks for the new codes :]
|
FYI: 801299 is 50% off everything, with no regular price purchase required. No free shipping, unfortunately... but ok if you just absolutely have to buy something now. It's the best code working right now.
|
806199 is a 50% off everything (non-set) code as well.
806152, 806178, 807778 & 808278 all come back as invalid. Several other of the "unknowns" don't show ANY discounts (even for sets). Thanks again for the update mpaul39. Too bad the 60% off code didn't stick around for a while - kinda was waiting for a site-wide free S&H special. :( |
The link to the codes hasn't been working for me for the last day. Will it be back soon? If not, what are the current good codes?
|
didn't look very hard, did you?
they're on page 15, 1 page back ;) |
I was looking at the link on the first post :(
|
WARNING -
For those that used the 806199 -or- 806277 offer codes for 50% or 60% off titles last month on orders & subsequently had those orders disappear, CHECK your order history!!! I used 6199 (didn't know about 6277) & my order disappearred a week later. 3-4 weeks later, it re-appearred - in 3 separate orders. And, no max on S&H of $15 - like when I placed the order. Just FYI. |
^816199 is the code i've been using for 50% off, with no problems.
|
Are you people using these codes as members or non members? I assume that you are members when you use a 50% off code right? Why not just join-cancel-rejoin over and over. I just did it with LMY and went for the 7-2 deal and then got two free for buying the two commitments. So I got 11 for about 5.60 per dvd. Did I do well?

Would you WASTE an enrollment pkg on $7.95 MSRP titles????? Not I. |
Jester tell me how to do that. Are you a member and how do you find just MGm titles? What am I missing?

I just got an email for a buy 3 for $25 promo which looks very similar to a promo last year where I think you could order 2 DVDs for $15 and with a B1G1F (BOGO) code for each of these $7.50 DVDs regularly priced $19.95 or higher you could get a free DVD. This seems to be almost the exact same set of titles (Bad Boys, Must Love Dogs, Vacation, Shaun of the Dead, etc.) except it's 3 for $25. I'd guess CH probably fixed that error anyway, so even if we had a B1G1F code it wouldn't work, plus shipping kills it now.
What's sad and funny is if you start with a 50% off code like 806199, it looks like you don't need a regular priced purchase so you can buy most of these at $7.48 or less, but as soon as you add the 3rd title from the list the price jumps from $7.48 to $8.33 each. |
Does anyone know if this 3-for-25 offer counts as a fulfillment like it used to?

That sorta kills any potential savings you may get with a 50-60% off sale. I can't imagine anyone sticking around beyond the initial commitment point any more. You can find better prices just about anywhere else... Amazon, etc. |
Columbia House Canada presently has a Buy 1 DVD for $9.95 CDN and get 2 more free. No commitement to purchase anything else. Guaranteed!
The best part - FREE SHIPPING on your introductory order. Code - 9W6 |

The best part - FREE SHIPPING on your introductory order. Code - 9W6 PS - That code may be better suited for the Better Code Thread. |

I am about to order 2 of these 3 titles (all pre-orders for $19.99) to fullfill my account (LMT 7+2):
Syriana Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Underworld: Evolution SE Is there a code working now that can enable me to get even more DVD's and maintain or lower my ave. cost per disc, or should I just go ahead and buy 2 to fullfill because there are no good codes right now? Edit: I could get the answer to this question if I read all the threads but I think this would be an easy question for a DVDtalker who is willing to help, thanks in advance. |

I just placed an order using code 807748
Ten Commandments-counts toward commitment It Came From Outer Space-free Seuss Celebration-counts toward commitment Stagecoach-free order total: 41.90 + 8.96 shipping= 50.86 (I don't pay taxes at CH) Not bad after checking prices in other places and it takes care of my commitment for this account. |

The prices not showing up is a bad sign. Whenever this happens to me the discounts are never applied. |
Somebody get me a b1g1 free with free shipping quick. That shit is cool and I've been waiting for a while, I'm about to break and pay for shipping which suck butthole!
