I think when these B1G1 codes show up, there should be some kind of alert .

Agreed! I even saw the post, but was oblivious to what "BIG1" stood for...my own fault...

TOTALLY agree! I just fulfilled an account with this, and I can't believe the deal! I only wish I had known about this one for my last account which I fulfilled recently. But I'm not complaining.

Also of note, the titles I bought using 800224 were "Wedding Crashers" and "Wild Bunch," which both came in at "Buy it now" prices of $19.95 (instead of $21.95 and $22.95 respectively). Nice pair of fulfillments, plus the two freebies, minus $5 web discount = 4 recent releases for $34.90 and a fulfilled account. Sweet.

Your a lucky man. Wild Bunch is coming up at full price for me. Oh well, I'm not going to let a couple of bucks sour me on this great code.

Thanks for the code(s). I also used 800224 and had an average of $4.99 with tax for this account.

Fulfilled with:

The Frighteners Director's Cut
The 40-Year-Old Virgin (Unrated)
Serenity

Man, I go & research those codes & I didn't even catch the extra bit about the 800224. I thought it was just B1G1 - not B#G#.

Oh well, I'll try & "salvage" this account - like it needs salvaging??

Anyways, since you can't get pre-orders as freebies, I used them as $19.95 payees & got 2 $21.95 titles as freebies. I feel better now.

Even with me having to get an extra title(only needed 1 to fulfill) to get free S&H, my avg with tax is still only $6.36 for 14 - not too shabby.

I just placed an order with the code 800224. Everything appeared to go smoothly. I purchased 2 fulfillment titles plus 2 other titles free. Order total was $34.90 + tax.

But now when I check under "Order History", the order is listed as "To Be Assigned" with stars (*****) for all the prices. Does this mean my order did not go through? Is this trouble? Keeping my fingers crossed that the order goes through. I am not sure if I should place the order again. But I don't want a duplicate order. Any help would be appreciated.

I did notice I needed to enter the code before adding them to the cart, if that helps.

That is normal. Just give it a few days, and it should show up okay.

I just got the email for this sale. Looks like it is only running for the 13th and 14th. Hopefully a few of these codes will work afterwards.

Click on the link near the top that says something like "Looking for the offer in your mailing?" That will provide a window where you can enter the code.

Ok, yeah the B1G1 Free Shipping offer was too good to pass up. Went ahead and did an order for 2 preorders and got 2 others free. And NO TAX?? Good golly. My last account is fulfilled now. Just when I started to wonder if I'd sign up for CH again, my faith is renewed. As soon as the new SE Batmans are availble I'm enrolling.

Lord of War (2 Disc) (PRE-ORDER)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (FREE)
Saw II (PRE-ORDER)
Exorcism of Emily Rose Unrated (FREE)

$42.90

I joined on Tuesday, got my email confirmation on Wednesday, but had a problem with ordering online because prices didn't show up (just asterisks). So I called a CSR and she took the 800224 code for my four DVDs (March of the Penguins, Madagascar, 40YO Virgin and Bye Bye Birdie) and threw in expedited shipping for free because of the "inconvenience". So in four days I've completed an account and I'll get my last four selections even before I get my first seven. Wow!!!!!! My head is spinning! I opened another account yesterday and I'm crossing my fingers that I get approved today so I can do the B1G1 deal again. DVDtalk ROCKS!!!!

Mine came up that way as well, but then a "different" order with the same titles showed up today (the old one is still asterisks). In the new order, the price on one title was higher (I had gotten Wedding Crashers at $19.95 instead of $22.95), and the $5 web discount was gone. Well, I'm off to call CH.

Growing Pains S1 .......... $22.46
World of the Worlds LE ... FREE
Black Adder I................. $19.95
League of Gentlemen I.... FREE
WEBDVD ..................... -$5.00
Total .......................... $37.41

I should note that a lot of the 19.95 British series are NOT available as enrollments, but you CAN select them as free titles with this code. It doesn't seem to work for higher priced SPECIAL PRICE dvds, just the 19.95 ones...

I noticed that too. I had already gotten all the Blackadder ones individually with FC sometime ago. Otherwise I would've been all over those with this deal. If you're as interested in British TV shows as I am you might want to checkout the TV club now (unless you already have). About a month ago I joined with HDL and got Absolutely Fabulous and Father Ted Holy Trilogy. Both brilliant shows. Hopefully they will get Only fools and Horses as enrollments soon. Otherwise I might get the complete series from amazon uk.
