Since I haven't been able to open a new account since January, I got:
-Legend: UE
-Farscape: PW
-Iron Giant: SE

For $54 in FC + the $80 I already had I'm all set for some box sets a month from now

You can combine this with the other special deals going on right now, if there's a title on both lists. For instance, The Bourne Supremacy is part of the 2 for $18 Action Movie deal as well as this triple funcash deal. Buying two of them for $18 (one for a friend, right?) nets $12 in funcash. Adding Spy Game (part of the Keep it Simple Sale) costs an additional $5.95 and nets another $6 in funcash, and gets you free shipping to boot. And as was pointed out earlier, Schindler's List for $6.95 is not a half-bad way to net another $6 in funcash.

It looks like if you use the 006118 code to get 9x funcash it negates the other sales (Keep it Simple, Action 2fers, even the low Schindler price!), so it's mainly good if you're buying other stuff.

You would think so! But I found a combination that gets $51 in Funcash on an UNFULFILLED account! All you have to do it select SHARK's TALE as your committment! I then added any two other 21.95 titles (at 50% off), and got $51 in Funcash! I tried many different combinations, but Sharks Tale is the ONLY one that made it work. The other 2 titles don't matter, but I was mainly trying recent releases...

Another Great Find

I got the AHOY e-mail this morning and thought it was an OK deal. Then I saw the post by mbs and couldn't pass up $18 in FunCash for every 1 DVD purchased. That's simply AMAZING! Thanks mbs for the heads-up. I haven't been able to get a DVD Club membership approved since January either, so this helps get some titles I need for $10.98 each PLUS $18 FunCash each.

This is what I was able to get with the 9X FunCash:

Title Selection# Price

The Grudge 3598901 $10.98

Without a Paddle 3480803 $10.98

The Karate Kid Collection 3579901 $27.71

Saw 3521804 $10.98

The Notebook Platinum Series 3319506 $10.98

Two Brothers 3623501 $10.98

Open Water 3456902 $10.98

The Manchurian Candidate 3432804 $10.98

Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow Special Collector's Edition 3480902 $10.98

Friday Night Lights 3616802 $10.98

Subtotal $126.53

Shipping & Processing Free

Tax Free

Total $126.53
FunCash this order: $180.00

Depending on shipping and tax.. you'll eventually end up paying $7.54/dvd.

Pretty good! And with you not being able to open new accounts, it's even better.

Still if you can open new accounts, the LMT is still the better choice. IMHO.

I'm just curious how you got the $7.54/DVD average? If it makes a difference there is no tax for me.

After trying out different combinations, this is what I found out.

Shark Tale by itself gives $5 in Funcash (with no other code). And Shark Tale is not part of the Triple FunCash Ahoy Matey offer.

Shark Tale along with 006118 code gets you $5 x 3 = $15 Funcash.

If you only have ONE commitment left in your account, then you can get $51 in Fun Cash (as posted above by kenbenobi). But if you have two more commitments left on your account, then the best you can get is $42 in Funcash (for three titles...one of which is Shark Tale).

OK for $108 in funcash, I got

606014946 DVD Surviving Christmas
606014946 DVD The Manchurian Candidate
606014946 DVD Saw
605965474 DVD The Grudge
605965474 DVD The Notebook Platinum Series
605965474 DVD Ray

Cons. - Including my taxes , thats $93 for 6 DVD's. Thats a $15.50 average. If regular DVD's are purchased with the ($108) funcash, lets say 5 DVD's ,thats 11 / $93 for an average of $8.46 . Its really not that good considering these titles can be purchased as an LMT enrollment/fullfillment deal.

Pro's. - Using this funcash for box sets makes the deal a lot more attractive , I NEVER buy box sets during fullfillment.
Many of the titles available for this special promotion are newer and arent available for enrollment. So if you lack patience like me, this isnt such a bad deal.

This deal doesnt even come close to the 2xfuncash b1g1, but I wouldnt expect that to happen again. But.. YA NEVER KNOW !

sumdeus...
I had included tax in my figure. Without, its about $6.87 per dvd. Again, depends on shipping and dvd choice.

True, my example was if you fulfilled ONE commitment, but Shark Tale apparently IS part of the triple funcash (at least with 006108). $5 x 3 = $15, plus 18 each for 2 other titles = $51.

Mine seems to be all screwy. I added the deal of the day and get $30 in funcash if I have two other dvds in there. But I only get $6 for Shrek 2 and Manchurian Candidate by themselves. Anyone else add the deal of the day to see if they get more than $18 in funcash.

You need to be over $35 for it to triple to $18... So assuming one of your titles was at 50% off, you weren't over $35

If it's not too much of a problem, can some kind soul please post a list of the Triple Funcash DVDs? I know some people (including me) can't get the page to show on our accounts. Thanks.

006118 is not coming up for me anymore, either is 006117. Think they caught on. Unless it's just me, but I don't think so

I just tried using code 006118, no extra spaces or anything like that, and received the "Sorry we don't recognize this code" message, so apparently CH has gotten wise to this.

I still haven't been able to get the Ahoy Matey Sale to work for me, even though I got an email about it. I've tried both IE and Firefox to link to the sale. Is there a code I can try?....So annoying not being able to get an email about this sale, and not being able to get it to work....

Not wise enough though. Instead of using 006118, replace the two 00's with any other number. I tried 226118 and it worked. 3 titles from the ahoy matey list and $54.00 in funcash.

Bastages. I was thinking at work today about jumping in on this tonight due to being able to fill up on new selections for the same price as an enrollments/new combo, plus the heavy fun cash. I was also able to double or triple-dip the last redemption period. This could have been a box set bonanza fun cash-wise. With fun-cash redemptions there is a $15 max on shipping, so even 4 or 5 box sets would max out at $15 shipping.

Kudos to those of you who got in. I hesitated because there aren't that many titles I want, but I could have got some otherwise iffy ones (such as Matrix Collection when I already have the individuals and I'm not an uber-fan).

Doesn't work for me here...and only 5 minutes after you posted too.
