looks like these triple fun cash deals arent that great - definantly not near the LMT price point...

Did you guys not pay attention to mbs? NINE TIMES the Funcash with code 006118. You don't need that email or the link. Granted, that isn't for every DVD, but all are at LEAST triple funcash, some 4X... All of the 9X titles seem to be recent releases, and earn $18 EACH in Fun Cash!!! I placed one order and received $141 in Fun Cash...

Just for grins, using the 006118 code I put in three titles that came to about $44 total (free shipping) and earned $54 fun cash. With the redemption period so close it is tempting...

I'm like everyone else.. trying to figure out if this is a great deal or not.

My 3 dvd's came to 43.91 no shipping charge, but $54 in funcash. How to do the math that supports this as a great deal or not. $54 comes to 2 reg price dvds and "maybe" 1 cheapie dvd free. So that would be 6 for 43.91 roughly $7.31 per dvd. OOoops.. probaby more as I didnt add tax/shipping to those funcash deals. Creative math?

LMT is roughly $6.50 or something close per dvd with tax/shipping right?

Guess it's not so hot after all???

Schindler's List WS is part of the triple funcash deal and it's still 6.95.

It's a better deal if you need to fulfill an account. Not as good if you don't...

I added six DVDs to my cart from the triple funcash pages and used code 006118. This was a fulfilled account, but I did not complete the order. The total was around $72 and I was geting $108 in funcash. If I used that funcash only on DVD movies that would be about five free DVDs. Basically I would get 11 DVDs for $72 (not counting shipping on the funcash items) = about $6.55 each.

On the surface, it looks as when you place a $40.89 order and get $54 in fun cash as you are "getting $14". But the math per dvd price doesn't compute as a great deal afterall.

I don't understand saying something like this. With funcash there are no limits to what you can use it on. For folks that have purchased most of the enrollment titles they have an interest in this deal is amazingly hot. You purchase dvds you want and get basically equal value in funcash.

how are you guys getting all that funcash? i have $53 in dvds in my cart but only $36 in funcash shows up at the bottom. does it have to be a fulfilled account to get code 006118 cause when i put that in it tells me i get unlimited dvds at 50% off and $5 extra funcash.

I say it only as it's not as hot as the LMT code.

And I'm basing it on a per dvd cost. I'm sure that cost also changes with which dvd's you choose.

Does the shipping on the funcash redeem period go to $1.99 per dvd even on preferred accounts? If so, that will further eat into the "deal".

I'm getting the same thing on a *fulfilled* account (TV Edition DVD Club): the 006118 code tells me I get an extra $5 funcash if I spend $35. How are people getting nine times funcash with this code???

The 9xFC shows up when you go to Checkout. I already fulfilled all my accounts, I don't really lust after any of the available titles, and while the per disc cost can be tempting

I think that I have figured it out. The 006118 code gets you triple FC on all titles. The AHOY MATEY code gets you triple FC on those select titles. So, on a fulfilled account, an AHOY MATEY title would get you $18 in FC($2x3x3=$18). Titles that are not part of the AHOY MATEY promotion would get you $6 in FC($2x3=$6). I would imagine that fryinpan1, for example, added 6 AHOY MATEY titles to his already fulfilled account. The math would break down as follows-
6x$2x3x3=$108. This is how some people are able to receive more in FC than what their total order costs.:) All of these glitches that has been occuring at CH lately is great and all, but I don't need the temptation right now.:)

The Gone With the Wind 4 Disc set is part of the triple fun cash promotion for 29.96. Using code 006118 you get 50% off additional titles. You can get 50% any of the Criterion titles because GWTW's regular price is 39.95. You also get free shipping with orders of three or more.

Final total 128.84 with 54.00. Avg price paid (not counting Fun Cash) is 16.48 and thats for 6 CC titles and GWTW 4 Disc.

Not too bad if they're something you're interested in.

This is correct. This is a good deal especially if you select AHOY MATEY titles and use the funcash for box sets or if you have an unfulfilled account. I would have placed that order but I already have over $100 in funcash spread over two accounts and there are not many boxsets that I need.

Do you get $54 in Funcash for 3 DVDs (Notebook, Saw, SpyGame) even on unfulfilled accounts?

Or is the $54 in FC only on fulfilled accounts?

What is the best you can do as far as FC with this deal on unfulfilled accounts?

You only get $1 in FC per title until you fulfill. If you buy both fulfillment titles on the same order, then you'll get $1 for each fulfillment title and $2 each for every additional title. Instead of $54 in FC for this set of three, you would get $1x3x3=$9, $1x3x3=$9 and $2x3x3=$18 for a total of $36 in FC.

I think that I'm going to pass on this deal and hope for the glitch that CH had during the last FC redemption period. Last time I redeemed my FC, they replenished the FC that I had used on a previous order. If this happens again, then I don't need to stockpile so much FC.:)
