communication problems with freedvd4me?

Is anyone else not getting responses to their emails to freedvd4me? I just sent a 3rd email to them asking what is going on with my Shrek 2 bonus DVD that I still haven't received yet...and no responses. This is not the service I've grown to love from freedvd4me...

I emailed them on Friday, and I [not to any surprise] haven't heard a response yet. I'll post when I do.

well i emailed them on last thursday and got a reply on friday, please dont tell me something is wrong here, it was such a pain in the ass to sign up for those offers, probably a bigger pain to cancel, they owe me over 1700 points, my oliver stone box set, i hope this is not the end....

maybe they all took an early vacation for thanksgiving, it's hard to believe they would just run off

You know, I've never had anything but a positive experience with freedvd4me until now. Always replied to my emails in less than 24 hours. Maybe they DID take a vacation. I don't know. I know that I did the bonus offers for Shrek 2 and had problems with 2 of the offers not being credited. After emailing back-and-forth to get them credited, the DVD was supposedly ordered. Haven't heard anything since. Frustrating...

let me tell you about some serious bull shit, i just got credited most of my points around 2400, in my idea cart i had the ultimate oliver stone collection, not only was it taken off my idea cart but removed completely from their list, it is really ironic that they credited me the points but took that item off, considering it was their last night, they must have seen it in my cart, then removed it completely, this is really pathetic, i sent them a rude email saying what the hell is this....

I just received my reply from FreeDVD4Me.com.

A few points of interest [to me at least]:

The book offers will return, but not until January.
More offers are being added to the Weekly Bonus this week.

Received my email today. Here it is:

"Sorry for the delay. Yes, the dvd has been ordered and shipped. You should receive it soon, but we have put an inquiry into our distributor to find out about the delay. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience and enjoy your dvd when you receive it."

I think it's great that they didn't just say "Please be patient, these things take time, blah blah blah". They acknowledged the delay was a problem and said that they'll be looking into the source of the problem. Not bad. I guess they're in my good graces again. Hope ruk has better luck (no rhyme intended).

well they stated that overstock does not carry it anymore which is such bullshit, considering they have it on their website, anyways to make a long story short. i ordered star trek the next generation season 2, them most expensive set i could find and plan on selling it on ebay and with that money get the unltimate oliver stone collection - i hope it works because i am so sick of doing this unnecassary work...

Sorry to hear that, ruk. These deals may cost little out of pocket, but they certainly do cost a lot of time.

I placed an order for Seinfeld Season 4 on May 16th, one day before the release day. I didn't get an email confirmation and have heard nothing. I could find nowhere on the site to check the status of the order. I emailed freedvd4me on Monday the 23rd and have not got a response.

This is my first order with them. Do they usually not send an email confirmation? How long does it usually take to get your DVD's?

I don't mind it taking a couple of weeks to arrive, but not knowing and not being able to check the status of the order is frustrating.

i also ordered seinfeld from them and have not received it yet, it should show in your order history when you log in atleast, they have started to sent confirmations, i emailed them yesterday stating my seinfeld has not been received and they replied saying there was an error so they sent it yesterday, just send them a email from their website, hope this helps

And usually it does not take a few weeks, maybe a week.
