I tried the $39.95 thing to complete my commit, but no luck.

The CSR did mention that the price on Spiderman 2 will drop next Monday to "below all competitor's prices".

Is this something you hear often? Is it worth calling back Monday to check the deal?

anybody get SM2 yet?

i usually get CH preorders on the Thursday or Friday of release week, and I'm wondering whether they are treating this like a preorder for shipping purposes.

Ordered Tues Morning.

I ordered it the other day (TUesday night) and I still haven't even been charged. Rec'd order confirmation via e mail, but there items are still in my cart according to the website. I'm hoping to get it here soon. I can't wait to watch some of it again.

I think i got the shipping confirmation on Thursday, but that doesn't usually mean anything with CH. I usually get DVDs in the mail and then get the shipping confirmation a few days later.

I hoped that they would treat this like a preorder and expedite shipping. Guess not.

Was the CSR referring to the regular DVD or the gift set?

In any event, Monday has come and gone and I don't see any such price drop.

It's just a good thing I have this Matrix thing to keep me occupied, or I'd be pissed.

I received mine last Wednesday. Disc one was loose in the package and scratched up, so CH is sending a replacement.

I just tried to fulfill on the phone using SM2 as one of the selections and I could ONLY buy it at $16.95 meaning it would not count as a fulfilment. Bummer :-(
