Will FunCash Expire on 12/31/04??

I believe that in the past CH may have let unused FunCash carry over from one year to the next - but the FunCash rules say that you have to use your FunCash in the year that it was earned - and that unused FunCash will expire after 12/31/04.

I've built up $120 in FunCash using special promotions and I want to know if I HAVE to use it in 2004 or if I can save some to use during the next redemption period in 2005. Any insight?

Thanks

Some members have reported success in carrying Funcash over into a new year [I've transferred Funcash from 2003 to this year]. On the other hand, CH has amended their policy, stating that only $10 will carry over into next year. I think it will be possible to carry it over to the next year, but it might require several phone calls and sugar-topped pleases. It would be smart to make sure it carried over correctly as soon as possible, also.

I wouldn't risk it. Especially if I had $120 worth.

I'd use it. I wouldn't want $110 to expire.

When can the Fun Cash be used, is there a specified date when we can start using it or can we use it anytime. I ask because when I placed order for Legend Ultimate Edn, there was no option for me to specify funcash as part of payment.

You can use it from now until December 31st. To use it, click on the funcash tap on your home page. Then, click the link in the green box on the right of the screen. Now you can peruse CH and add items to your Funcash cart, which lets you choose how much Funcash to apply to an order.

I'm trying to apply my funcash. On the page where I use the drop down menu to say how much I want to use, use of funcash is reflected properly. But on the next page, the dvd price is back at the higher price. This is on a dvd that's on sale - is funcash only for regularly priced dvd's? Thanks.

Yes. Box sets are the only items where you can apply Funcash to a sale price. That is why savvy members don't use them on regular titles.

It has come twice in the last three months. Check again the next time box sets go on sale @ 40% off. Though I think the last time they never caught it, and this time they did.

They did catch on a week into the sale the first time. This last time they caught on around the second or third day.

Well then, based on that record it'll be like a "fastest finger" competition on the next announced sale day.

I'll be there.

On topic, I'm considering not consolidating any more Funcash for the rest of the year. This way I'll have several closed accounts with around $10 each on them. I'll then colsolidate in January in time for Batman: TAS Vol. 2. Who knows? Depending on how many accounts I open I may have enough to make a nice dent in WB's Gangsters box.
