online codes for CH

Hey everybody, i am new to this forum stuff. I was wondering what the best online code for applying to CH currently was. I am a 3 time member and would like to join again. I saw a code which gives free shipping and only requires 2 committments if you buy a 6th during the enrollment. Is this the best code they offer? Thank you.

Welcome. Yes that seems to be the best code.

Another handy code is K4BD. Three for 49 cents and one for 14.95 with free shipping on all four, plus one more commitment. It is not the best all-around code, though.

Are you sure about that code? It doesn't seem to work on-line. If it did, it would have an average DVD cost of $6.87.

You're correct, the code doesn't work online. This is because you can choose how many initial titles you order, and depending on that number, there is a variable amount of fulfillments. You can order 8, 5 [I think], or 3. 3 will give you the best cost per disc. Also, your calculation is off. You can't use a $5 coupon with a 19.95 fulfillment. The actual average cost per disc is $7.87.

Right you are. So, this works for phone orders?

It sure does. I've had about 4 accounts with this one. If you fulfill with 3 for $25, you can get $5.16 per disc average if you decline the $14.95 enrollment title. It does require a PSN, I believe, for you newbies.

Just want to clarif...
3 for 1.47 (enrollment) + 6 for 50 (fulfillment) - $5 web coupon = 9 for $46.47 or $5.16/dvd (woo hoo)

Yes. Unless you'd like to write a nice letter to send to Columbia House in the mail.

OK, I think I'm confused. I just called up about K4BD (the code I think the last few posts were about) and the CSR said my options were:

Buy 3 @ 0.49 (free S/H) and then I have 2 fulfilments, or
Buy 5 @ 0.49 (free S/H) and then I have 4 fulfilments, or
Buy 8 @ 0.49 (free S/H) and then I have 7 fulfilments

Earlier in the thread, evitagen says "The actual average cost per disc is $7.87", to which lizard agrees, and then right afterwards evitagen says "If you fulfill with 3 for $25, you can get $5.16 per disc average if you decline the $14.95 enrollment title"

Now I haven't joined in a while (long story), but the key point I seem to be missing is how do you fulfil with "3 for $25"? And it also appears from some of the quoted calculations that even those fulfilments have free S/H, as well as a $5 web discount. I'm all over a $5.16 average, I just need a little further clarification if somebody could please accommodate me.

Thanks.

So that first option would give me the best average price?
