New 3 for $25 offer.

My open account is now showing a new 3 for $25 offer, and the fine print suggests that any $14.95 title will qualify.

Since there are a number of $14.95 titles on my want list, I may shoot for using six of these to fulfill my next account:

17.40 + 25 + 25 + 12.94 (shipping for six) - 5 = 75.35 ($6.28 per DVD). Not bad!

There are also some titles in the specialty shop that have a $19.95 regular price. I noticed Ocean's Eleven, some James Bond titles, and a few others.

They aren't showing as "counts toward commitment" for me.

I couldn't find anything, however that comment in their official text about "this holiday season...." suggests a fairly long duration. I can't imagine they were refering to the labor day holiday!

S&H would seem to kill this deal.

Even with S&H, the per DVD cost works out to $6.28 over 12 DVD's. That's a great deal if there are eligible titles you have interest in. In my case, I have held off on many since the spring 4-for-$29.95 hoping there would be another good deal.

If you apply over the web and log in the day you get your account number in your email, you should get free shipping.

Me neither - Viking99, have you checked to make sure it is counting toward commitment for you?

I don't have an unfulfilled account to check this on. When this morning's phone app gets approved, I'll let you know.

I'm seeing the same problem you guys are. My new account opened yesterday, and putting sets of three of the 14.95 titles into my cart does NOT earn fulfillment credit. That text mentioning credit (see second post in this thread) has also disappeared from the "details" in my on-line account. It was worth a try, but it looks like I'll still be paying $7.16 for my DVD's instead of $6.28.

More of an emotional let down than a monetary one...

How are you figuring $7.16? I'm getting $8.52:

17.40 + 25 + 25 + 19.95 + 19.95 (fulfillments) + 16.92 (shipping for eight) - 5 = 119.22 for 14 DVDs or $8.52 each.

I was refering to reverting to the normal process and not using the "3 for 25" deal at all.

D'OH! I should have recognized the $7.16, I've typed it into DVDProfiler enough.

Looks like they may count for commitment now. It is showing up as counting for 1/3 of a commitment for each title. Shipping still hurts though.

Thanks for the heads-up - the odd thing is, I have 2 unfulfilled accounts and it is only satisfying commitment in 1 of them (the one I just opened this week). Maybe it will only count for commitment in newly opened accounts.

Also, it seems that any $14.95 DVD is on sale, not just the ones that are linked from the sale page.

NCYankee or anybody, pull up godfather set on both your accounts and tell me the price(s). It was 45.57 last night and now shows 53.15. Someone else reports after mine change that it was still 45.57. Btw, my new account show that 3 for 25 does satisfy commitment.

Weirderer and weirderer - I get different prices on my two accounts -neither fulfilled.

My older one (3/$25 no commitment) shows $45.57. The newer one (3/$25 counts) shows $53.15.

Aspikes - what code did you use for your new account? I used JNV.

My account now shows the 3/$25 counting towards fulfillment, whereas it didn't yesterday.

I couldn't get it to show as counting toward any commitment titles so I called and talked them into giving me the 3/$25 = 1 commitment and also 3+ = free shipping.

Brings my avg price down to
