Any luck in getting any good TV Club codes to work? Their current offers over the phone suck. I've been trying to submit HDL applications online, but online attempts almost always "vanish into thin air" on me.

I've tried about 4 times now since May. Only once have I received an email notification of my application. I have never received a welcome email and have never gotten any of the DVDs I have ordered. These were all done using the K7L code on the website. Anyone have any tips on how to get accepted (I've had 4 other accounts in the past years and currently have 0 open)?

^ apply over the phone. Read back a few pages in this thread to find a code that is working. I have a few posts about the code I just recently used as well as others.

I applied for an account over the phone today using C8W and 42E, and neither of them worked. For the first time ever, I got a super pleasant CSR, who actually gave me the offer I was looking for, 7:2, even though I didn't have the code. She spoke to me outside of her script. This experience actually makes me want to call back. Also, I applied online a week ago with 42E, and was approved. I got my package today.

^The only "good" code listed here that reportedly still works on the phone is EBP. There are some others that are not listed here.
If your phone application is approved, be sure to check the membership terms on-line before opening your enrollment DVDs. You want to make sure that the CSR got the 7:2 stuff right.
It isn't that unusual to get a nice CSR and have him or her make a deal work manually. Being polite and friendly often works wonders.

I'm getting the six for 49 cents each part, but it's saying I need to buy three at $19.95 instead of two. Here's the message:
It's true. Choose 6 DVDs for $0.49 each, with free shipping! All you need to do is buy 3 DVDs over the next 2 years at $19.95 or more plus shipping and processing, and you may cancel at any time after doing so by contacting Customer Service. As a Bonus, you can take the 7th movie now for $9.95 with Free Shipping and have only 2 more movies to buy (instead of 3) in the next 2 years. Plus, you can take an 8th movie for the special price of $9.95 with Free Shipping. There's no risk, your introductory package is sent on a 10-day trial basis and includes complete details of membership. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the package at our expense and we'll cancel your membership and refund your money.

Okay, I'll give it a shot. I'd been clearing my cookies and opening a new page, but I hadn't bothered to clear my history or Internet files. Just for the sake of it, what browse r are you using?
I probably don't need to be messing around with this all that much, since I don't plan to put in for a new membership for a couple more weeks. I have an issue that needs to be resolved with one account and an open order with the other. This is probably more a case of me chomping at the bit to get my hands on the four WB Gangster titles I don't have in addition to the flicks from the most recent Controversial Classics set.

That's the correct 7:2 offer: 6 for 49¢ each, buy the bonus for $9.95 and have just two to fulfill. Result: 7 DVDs for $12.89 with two fulfillments required.
I don't get what the problem is.

D'oh. There's that public school attention span kicking in again. I think I had the same "problem" the first time I went through the enrollment stage. My fault, but thanks for pointing that out.

I just got approved for the "get five for $0.49, buy one more fore $14.95 and have only one more to buy to complete membership" deal.
I just completed my first membership (might keep it open though, just to be able to see the site like other people here do), and this new one is my second open account.

^Congratulations! That 6:1 (or 5:2 for those of us who buy box sets) code is hard to get approved (at least for those of us who have had many accounts before. Those 6:1 codes also don't work on the phone. You did well.

Wow! I just got my second consecutive online application (42M) without a loss approved 48 hours after submitting. That hasn't happened for several years. Looks like maybe for all of the BMG takeover small minuses this is a plus.

I just got an email invitation this morning. Followed the link and the url showed the code 42D. I was given the credit card option. Don't know whether PSN is required or not. I didn't see anywhere mentioning it but I was following the invitation they sent me as a previous customer.

I applied online Saturday morning with one of the 6:1 codes and got a welcome email this morning. That was fast! I just hope the porn mail fiasco has been fixed with CH.
