This might be old news, so I apologize in advance if I tell what you already know.

I got code 42M in an email yesterday: 7:2 with the 7th at 9.95. No PSN or CC required.

Thanks for letting us know, but this is the wrong thread. Use the offer code thread.

Good call, this trend has been annoying me a lot lately.

Maybe this next post will help....

Attention People!

This thread is for Enrollment Codes (3 digit alpha-numeric) ONLY.

Offer Codes (6 digit numeric codes) go in this thread---> http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=423563

Thanks!

Then could we possibly get "enrollment" placed somewhere in the thread's title?

I agree. I've gotten the two threads confused many times.

Exactly. I was only responding to the comments posted above in this thread (which used to discuss enrollment codes, but has since veered to both.)

To get the thread title changed, pick a post, for example the first post or basaro's post above, and click on the little red triangle with an exclamation point symbol in the lower left. This is the way to "report a post to a moderator" (actually it says "report bad post", don't worry about that). Ask the moderator to change the thread title to include the word "enrollment" and briefly explain why you would like to see it done.

For me, I long ago learned the difference between the two threads, and always try to refer to "offer" or "sale offer" codes when writing about the six digit sale offer codes. But I understand that it can be confusing for Columbia House newcomers.

^Thank you pilot and basaro. I didn't want to request it myself because I am trying to teach others here that mods don't bite

Thanks. This one worked for me. Submitted application on 7/25 and got the acceptance email on 7/27.

Oh, then I shouldn't have done it cause I'm not ascared of no mods, I've asked for help before

Someone else should've stepped up. Slackers

Thanks pilot, hope that helps clean up this thread.

BTW, I'm still waiting for an approval for my EBP app a few days ago. I've got the temp charge on my card, so it should go through. Just need another day or two to be sure.

^ My latest phone application using a similar code was rejected. I was hoping the letter would say why but it was just the generic "Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a membership at this time."

So, I really don't know if open accounts are limited to just one or if it is something else.

I currently have one account open under my name. I recently submitted an application using my name and it has been lost. I submitted another one using my wife's name with the same address and it was quickly accepted.

I don't know if that means they're inforcing the 1 account per person rule or if it's just luck of the draw.

I used the 42M code on the 25th and got my acceptance letter on the 27th, I didn't need a previous account number and I got to choose the "bill me" option.

I currently have a regular DVD membership (which I recently fullfilled but have not cancelled), and I have 2 TV DVD club memberships.

Interesting. Thanks for the info! At least there is hope for us with other accounts open.

I've been approved! A permanent CC charge showed up on my bill yesterday.

I also have another open account which I've had for 23 months, and has been fulfilled for 22 months. This account has always been open during all other apps in the last 2 years. I use the same mailing/billing info for both accounts, but I use different emails and cc's for each. I've never had any TV accounts.

Good luck to all!

Great news! I enrolled on the phone with the same code and have a similar situation to yours (1 account open for about 3-4 years), but I haven't received any kind of charge yet. Have my fingers crossed though.

Update: I never received any temp charges, but now there is a permanent $12.89 charge on my credit card. So, I assume I got accepted Since there's no good codes at the moment I'm in no hurry to fulfill, but I thought they email you your membership number once you're accepted? Or do you have to call in and ask or wait until you get your enrollment package?

I placed an application by telephone last week using code EBP, and I now have a charge on my credit card, though I have yet to receive confirmation. I also have another open and unfulfilled regular Columbia House membership, which I mentioned about twenty posts back.

I can only remember one time when they emailed me my membership number after applying over the phone. I always just wait to get the enrollment package.

I haven't rec'd a welcome email in over a year either. There was a period between 1 to 2 years ago when I almost always got the email.
Just another of CH's mysteries.
