To get the thread title changed, pick a post, for example the first post or basaro's post above, and click on the little red triangle with an exclamation point symbol in the lower left. This is the way to "report a post to a moderator" (actually it says "report bad post", don't worry about that). Ask the moderator to change the thread title to include the word "enrollment" and briefly explain why you would like to see it done.
For me, I long ago learned the difference between the two threads, and always try to refer to "offer" or "sale offer" codes when writing about the six digit sale offer codes. But I understand that it can be confusing for Columbia House newcomers.

Someone else should've stepped up. Slackers
Thanks pilot, hope that helps clean up this thread.
BTW, I'm still waiting for an approval for my EBP app a few days ago. I've got the temp charge on my card, so it should go through. Just need another day or two to be sure.

^ My latest phone application using a similar code was rejected. I was hoping the letter would say why but it was just the generic "Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a membership at this time."
So, I really don't know if open accounts are limited to just one or if it is something else.

I don't know if that means they're inforcing the 1 account per person rule or if it's just luck of the draw.

I used the 42M code on the 25th and got my acceptance letter on the 27th, I didn't need a previous account number and I got to choose the "bill me" option.
I currently have a regular DVD membership (which I recently fullfilled but have not cancelled), and I have 2 TV DVD club memberships.

I also have another open account which I've had for 23 months, and has been fulfilled for 22 months. This account has always been open during all other apps in the last 2 years. I use the same mailing/billing info for both accounts, but I use different emails and cc's for each. I've never had any TV accounts.
Good luck to all!

Great news! I enrolled on the phone with the same code and have a similar situation to yours (1 account open for about 3-4 years), but I haven't received any kind of charge yet. Have my fingers crossed though.
Update: I never received any temp charges, but now there is a permanent $12.89 charge on my credit card. So, I assume I got accepted Since there's no good codes at the moment I'm in no hurry to fulfill, but I thought they email you your membership number once you're accepted? Or do you have to call in and ask or wait until you get your enrollment package?

I placed an application by telephone last week using code EBP, and I now have a charge on my credit card, though I have yet to receive confirmation. I also have another open and unfulfilled regular Columbia House membership, which I mentioned about twenty posts back.

Just another of CH's mysteries.
