I noticed that Ace Ventura When Nature Calls is priced at only $6.95. Good deal for a funny movie!

I was wondering do they have Family Guy or Band of Brothers as boxsets for this deal? Thanks!

They do not have either. Check the bargains forum for the Amazon.ca deal on Family Guy. Practically every month at some store, there's usually a deal for 40+% off BoB, too.

This 40% off DVD's in this club is not such a good deal when they sometimes apply the discount on old list prices. Stagecoach(1939) is $11.97 plus tax in the club but DDD has it for $9.00 and Viva Las Vegas is $11.99 plus tax in the club but DDD has it for $9.00

I've seen Babylon 5, seasons 4 and 5 mentioned in this thread. Do they have seasons 1-3 also? For $60?

Yep, they have all five seasons for $60 each, as well as the movie collection for $35.99, all with free shipping.

One other thing on list prices, I found one that was too low rather than too high. I just received my DV2 order in the mail for the Civil War movie, Glory(2 disc SE). The list price at DV2 is $19.95 while elsewhere it is $29.95 so I got it for $12.87 total including tax while DDD has it for $22.06 total.

I like the club but I will not be sticking around in time for them to charge me my next annual access fee of $9.95. I started the club with Wizard of Oz "free" with my first annual fee and I have got a couple DVD's at good prices and have earned some funcash to pick up another DVD at a nice discount later in the year but the next $9.95 annual charge would just steal away from the decent deals I have received from the DV2 club.

Edit to add: My DV2 Welcome guide says "FunCash can only be redeemed against a DVD's regular club price..." so if this means the list price like the regular CH club, then my FunCash is useless since it would be better for me to take the daily 40% discount on a DVD then take my so far $3 total FunCash off the list price.

Good for box sets...Stargate SG-1 is a little cheaper here than at DDD.

Seasons 1 - 7 are $77.99 each with free shipping but with a sales tax charge depending on your State.

Can anyone confirm that the funcash is redeemable only on CH list pricing?

Sadly, yes, that is true.

I added Smallville 2 to funcash cart for a test on regular dvd club account. It starts at the special $35.97 instead of the list price, $59.90.

I also had free shipping on a DV2 funcash order, which was nice.

From the Funcash FAQ

You use your FunCash the same way you would use regular cash ($1=$1 in FunCash). And you can redeem as much FunCash as you like toward the price of any DVDs that you put into your FunCash shopping cart.

FunCash is applied against an item's regular club price, with the exception of multi-unit sets (3 or more discs) where FunCash can be applied to the already discounted price (special club price). (Please note: FunCash cannot be applied to tax, if applicable, or to shipping and processing charges.)

10. Are sets available for redemption with FunCash?

Yes, multi-unit sets (3 or more discs) are available with FunCash. FunCash can be applied to the already discounted price (special club price).

Well, right now, I only have a DV2 account open, and in every instance I tried, all box sets show up as LIST price in my funcash cart, not the special price.
