Saw him for the first time today, but I must say I was disappointed with the selection and prices, specially after a lot of us got in on the OverStock deal!

I live in the suburbs, and I found this thread quite hilarious

Not mocking anyone, but doesn't it just seem a little funny that people flock to a message board on the internet to discuss street vendors?

Just wondering, does the guy look homeless?
hehe

He's well-groomed and polite. He's a very nice man. And, it is funny that we're discussing a street vendor online.

Edited to ask: Is he there today?

COOL!

That's one thing I've really missed most these past few years (read: Rudy 'cleaning up' the city), no more 3 card monte games. I used to love to walk around lower midtown just watching the different crews work. Some of those dealeres were artistes.....

No nothing new, but I did score 10 copies of AOD LE at J&R. I almost cleaned them out. I left 2 copies in their bin. The sales person saw me take them all and got pissy with me. She had to bend over backwards to get those copies from Anchor Bay, supposedly the last of the lot that they had. Luckily J&R has a lot of buying power and was able to obtain them. I told the sales person that they were all easter gifts for friends and family She responded sarcastically by saying "I hope you make a nice profit". Hey, I did leave 2 copies.

On sale for $19.99 + tax. They must have just gotten them in. I heard the sales girl tell another sales person that she had to sell her soul to get them from Anchor Bay. I looked to see what they were talking about,.... and bada bing, cha ching. I plan on giving away a copy in the bargin forum next week some time. I'll have to think of some sort of trivia/contest.

Someone who's office overlooks this guy's table should setup a CAM online so we can see if he's there daily, etc... one with zoom so we can see what titles he has would be cool too! hahahaha...

My brother works near there, but is too far away from his table for a cam

Okay, what is "AOD LE"?
LE = limited edition?
me wondering why so many on this forum like to use acronyms.

just got back, and he was there, but had a TON of martial arts flicks, nothing much in the way of mainstream stuff either - he also had a box full of porn, but I wasn't in the mood to look through it (was in a rush, actually)

He's there today with a sh*t load of additional titles. Too many to mention.

I picked up:

Cop Land
Rounders
Disney's Hercules Limited Issue

Hurry before all the good stuff is gone.

anyone see him today? I know it's raining, but that makes it the perfect day for me to walk up there - no people to slow me up (I'm all the way down by the ferry)

Here's there today... DVD's and Playstation games and

PLAYSTATION 2 GAMES! $30

I picked up Tiger Woods PGA 2001... he had Star Wars Starfighter, Ridge Racer V, Kessen, Gone Quackers, Unreal, etc.

It was really crowded, so hurry!

(edit):
And yes, I opened it, its legit... shrink wrap, little sticker on top edge, disc bottom is authentic... even had a price tag on it from a certain large computer chain on it.

He seems to be here everyday now.
Does anybody know when he usually arrives?
I want to get there early to avoid that friggin crowd.
Also it seems like the price for PS2 games has gone up to $35
