Damn !!! Damn !!, I canceled my original order and reordered all the sets to include the $10 off coupon and to have a complete collection. And now this !! Oh well...it doesn't give me grief anymore to not being a completist...getting older, I get angrier lesser :-)

I ordered 5 DVD sets and 1 pen to use the $10 off. All of the sets said "in stock" when I ordered them (except for Thin Man)

I just got a shipping notice for the pen!!! .... I'm going ot call them in a couple of weeks when this dies down and see if they will give me the sets for the discounted price thad don't ship. No cancellation notices yet, but I expect some

I had decent experiences with JR in the past so I hope the fulfill my order.
By the time I got to this there was no sign of the Garbo set on the site. (I looked mulitple times). Was it 14.99 as well.

Received shipping notice just now. What do you know - all 4 Warner Gangster collections have shipped but Forbidden Hollywood Vol II was canceled...oh well !!

EDIT: And the dreaded USPS is being used for shipping and delivery. Which means, my package will get tossed over the gate. Yesterday, USPS had tossed a hardcover National Geographic Photo book over my gate onto the porch damaging the ends of the front and back covers.

I think the Garbo set was 16.99. The others were 14.99. Two of my sets were cancelled. I got the Garbo though.

I placed an order YESTERDAY (probably after Classic Man received his cancellation notice for Gable) and got shipping confirmations for: Clark Gable, Val Lewton and Busby Berkeley Collection.

Thin Man and Lucille Ball were cancelled.

So I go to the website and it says BOTH are IN STOCK. Thin Man showed OOS yesterday and Lucille Ball was supposed to be instock as of yesterday. I placed another order at 14.99 each. If they ship, I'm calling J&R for a refund. Their inventory system is beyond crap.

Thanks I ordered the two items again since the show as in stock. I will see if they go through this time. Of course I lose a part of the $10 off as they apply a portion to all items ordered instead of deducting $10 from order total. Still good prices.
