$5 off $20 or $15 off $60. Wonder if the reason I'm getting such crappy coupons is because I'm using them?

^I've been wondering the same thing. That's the only coupon I've been getting since the conversion. At least they've been coming every couple of weeks.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

With my recent coupon in hand, I discovered a $5 display of BDs at a store while on the road in Tennessee.

Picked up the following:

The Debt (this one was $6.88)
Love Happens
Intruders
Stolen
The Paperboy
Beautiful Boy
The Mist

Besides The Mist, each of these is a blind buy, but factoring in the $15 off $45, I'm ok with the taking a chance on 'em at $3 a pop.

I also bought a DVD double feature (Deal/52 Pick-up) and A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (seasons 2-4 combined on 2 discs) for $3 each.

First time I've made a significant addition to my collection from Big Lots in a long, long time.

Pearl got the $5 Blu's (nothing I've really heard of) & batch's of $3 & $5 dvd's. I'm mostly into classics, so unless someone(s) beat me to the racks (a possibility) the pickings were slim: Cat On A Hot Tin Roof & Roman Holiday are now at $3. There are lots of them. Major Leaguer "I Love The 80's" came in at $3, as did restock on the same ed of Pretty In Pink. Nothing else worth mentioning, though a number of titles I hadn't seen before.

I also look for the older films and will be looking for that one. Hopefully there'll be lots here as well. It's been *very* slim pickin's here since the Christmas titles (which weren't all *that* great) hit back in October. The people there who know me and my DVD purchasing habits have been surprised when I don't walk out with a stack. Of course I've told them "When you get something *new* and "good" and I'll buy 'em again..."

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Yesterday I picked up Titan A.E. and the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special for $0.75 each. When I was at the register, the cashier was having a conversation with another employee and it sounded like the cashier was irritated that a customer was able to print a Buzz Club coupon twice and use it twice. Now, I didn't hear the whole conversation, so I could be wrong, but I do think I heard her say something about printing a coupon twice. I don't know if anyone wants to give it a shot.

Yep, that's the one. I only saw the one copy at the store I visited.

The NoHo store on Vineland Avenue now has a TON of the $8 Disney blu-rays. They keep getting more in but they can't sell what they already have. They also have the Titanic miniseries (with slipcover).

Also some new titles I saw:

When In Rome (with slipcover)
Glory Road
Sky High
The Kids Are Alright
Bang Bang Club
American Pie: Book of Love

Another small shipment of Universal $5 blu-rays at the NoHo store on Vineland Avenue. Stuff they've had before like It's Complicated and Duplicity, but there were a couple of new titles:

Nanny McPhee Returns
Last House on the Left (remake)

Another $5 of $20 or $15 off $60. It's been awhile since I got a $5 off $15, etc coupon.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

^Same here but I've never received a $5 off $15. Mine *used* to include $10 off $40 but I've not recieved one of those since November. I really don't care for the $15 off $60 as I don't want to drop that much on a weekly basis (and it's somewhat hard to do regularly). $20 is typically too easy to hit and my wife will go to $30 without blinking an eye. We'd get lots more use out of $10 off $40 as that amount is more in line with our weekly BL purchases.

While the discount is better, as we now get ~20% off everything we purchase, they actually get less business from us with the "improved" club because we now limit purchases to using the coupons and now rarely purchase anything costing more than $25.

I've received a $5 off $15, but only once, and that is the only one of any kind I've gotten yet (though I don't buy from them very often these days).

seems like last time everybody got a 5 off 15, while I got a 5 off 20. This time I got a 5 off 15. Stopped by to see what was available, but forgot the coupon. A couple of good titles

Brothers Warner
Day for Night (2003)

but hopefully by next week I can actually get $15 worth of stuff to buy.

I actually like the new "buzz" club. With so little to buy and a coupon once or twice a month, I never pay more than 2.25 per title for a DVD and a little more for a BD.

not too happy with them taking out the middle option either. I guess it worked out last time because I just bought less, but during BF, I would have bought enough for that middle option.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Not much new this week (or was it last week, I don't worry about going in right when the truck arrives anymore!)

Spoilers is now at $3
Footloose deluxe at $3
I saw the 2 Harryhausens that others have mentioned
Pretty in Pink I Love the 80's restock at $3

Nothing else worth mentioning at all.

The $5 blu's are actually selling (i'm stunned; there isn't a one I'd want for $1!).
And at Pearl, the $8 blu's are gone, though the $6.88 batch from a few months ago seems to keep hanging around; but it's also in a bad place (next to the video games, not with the other movies)

Only went back a page or so, but don't see any of these titles mentioned. What are they?

Hopefully we'll get something decent in this week to use my 5 off 15 on. So far, only 2 titles I really want.

Beware the GULLIVER disc. Mine says "anamorphic widescreen" on the back but the disc is full screen.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

The "anamorphic widescreen" on the packaging is a mistake. From what I gather, both the original issue and the reissue of the DVD were fullscreen. Whichever version you buy, you're going to get a fullscreen image. For the record, the film's intended theatrical aspect ratio was 1.66:1.

*nods*

Does the "7th Voyage Of Sinbad" come with the insert?

Christmas stuff is 75% off now. Does that include DVD/blu-rays?

AFAIK, only the ornament ones. I might have to swing past again and check on the others.

Used my 5/15, but had to struggle to meet the min.
