I have seen Brotherhood of the Wolf at both Sanford FL stores as well as Longwood FL (17/92 and 434). The version in alll 3 places was the 2 Disc Directors Cut. This was a really cool movie. I'm anxious to watch this again.

I wish our local Big Lots would get some of these movies you guys keep talking about in here, they haven't had anything new in months. They're down to just their wire rack now, no floor-standing displays whatsoever, it's really discouraging...

Not only that, the guy I talked to there was like...Sale? We don't have any sales going right now...

There's a new Big Lots in east York, in the space formerly held by Circuit City. BigLots.com lists the grand opening as 10/19 (!) so it must have just opened. They had the cardboard tower packed with movies, and a wooden/wire rack maybe 1/3 full with Halloween on one side, $5 Christmas titles on another, regular films on another, and the 4th side with CD's.

The tower had an interesting mix of titles past, present, and new. I finally got copies of The Stranger and Champagne for Caesar, and here is what looked new:

A number of the above are Image Entertainment titles, and I was surprised they'd be available in such quantities to need to be "unloaded". Not much of the above appealed to me, but there are many other Image titles on my list. Maybe a 2nd dump will be a charm?

Sorry, I didn't notice, and get any discount on my DVD's. I do recall an awful lot of employees present, sometimes asking "can I help you find something?" We all know that's not going to last long! If there will be any special prices/activities, maybe that will start on the 19th?

I went to my BL store in Boyertown,Penna. in response to the above sale on clearance DVDs expecting to ponce on the inventory and acquire some cheapies for $2 and $3. I was told by the sales help that each store is different and that they didn't have such a clearance sale.Nor have they ever had any TV series DVDs.

Warning: After the ast store manager told me they would ring up at the clearance prices, none of them did. She then told me it's only the LIGHT Purple dvd tags, not the regular Purple. And of course the store I was at had NO light colored Purple tags...............

I did a quick look through what I've purchased over the past several months. The *only* DVDs I have with "light purple" tickets are those that were marked $1.88. I believe those were from Black Friday last year.

I live in Columbia right across the river, so I ran down yesterday because I've never been to a Big Lots but I have heard of people finding great deals there from time to time. I was hopeful that I could find a copy of Legend for $5 because I've been waiting for a decent price drop for a while now...but no luck.

I did grab $3 copies of Before Sunrise, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, and The Squid and the Whale.

Please if your back in the coming weeks/months throw a shout out on here if you see more copies of Legend, thanks!
