The copy of MACON COUNTY LINE is a Warner release and does have the gouge through the barcode.

By the time I saw MCL at the drive-in, I was already a family man. My wild time at the drive-in occured from 1964 through '67 or so.

Fixed. And yes I do, whenever she's looking for a good time, and has enough money to pay me.

Still nothing new at the NoHo store on Vineland Ave. It doesn't look like they ever got the last batch of Paramount titles that everybody was finding. Has anybody been to any of the others stores further in the SF Valley? Anything to report?

Hank, same situation here in the Chicago area where I have been working the past few months. Nothing from the last reported Paramount or WB sets. So it looks like the typically bad LA Big Lots karma trailed me here. :(

I picked up season three of Teen Titans for $3 earlier tonight.

Upright Citizens Brigade S1
The New World
Resident Evil Extinction
One copy of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail set

And nothing else new.

Same in Indiana nothing new, I guess they are trying to thin out the crap but it seems like the longer they wait the less that sells.

Just came from the BigLots next town over and.....nothing (same as the local BigLots). No new DVDs (or new stuff for the wife) since the last time we were there 2 weeks ago, once again my wife & I left BigLots empty-handed... -kd5-

I haven't been to a Big Lots in quite a while. Once the weather breaks, I'll have to take a drive up to one.

Went back to my favorite Big Lots and picked up the Bosom Buddies S1 $6 set I passed on the last trip. I need something fluffy like that to watch!

One previously unseen movie that was there - '60s musical Half A Sixpence for $3.

Interesting since this movie has been $5 at my BL ...

Lately I've been noticing the same sort of titles that BL usually gets at both Half Price Books & Oldies.com for significantly higher prices than BL charges. I wonder if that's part of the reason for the current BL drought?

Went hunting at the two BLs in Spartanburg, SC tonight. One Holy Grail set at the Pine Street location. Alot of copies of Mean Streets. I find that weird for some reason. Alot of the comedy central sets -- Upright, Sarah Silverman, etc... And one Twin Peaks season 2 marked at 6.00.

I dug through every damn title looking for Save The Tiger. ARRRRRGH, can't find it anywhere!!

Nothing new at the Myrtle Beach, SC location. I have checked it for the past two weeks.

Big Lot's dvd selection have sucked lately. I haven't even found a tv set that I care to buy.

Bring back the Warner titles.

A stray copy of the two-disc "Boogie Nights" reappeared at the Albany, NY store for $5 and I grabbed it. Not sure if there's any content differences from the set I already have, but the packaging is different.

I found one copy of this over the weekend and picked it up for $3.00. I actually had never even heard of it but for $3 I figured it was worth a shot. Other than that one I haven't found anything out of the ordinary in the three local Big Lots I have visited in the past week.
