The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

Over at the NBC store they have The Office S1-5 set for $129.95, as soon as you enter it to your cart it takes a 40% clearance promo off. Enter DVD40 to get another 40% more off bringing your total to $25.99 ($5.20 per set). It says $12.95 for shipping but when I went to checkout it has Discount -$12.95 and says total will be $25.99. The set was out of stock yesterday, but it's in stock again.

I'll readily admit that I own the season sets, but I placed an order. Easy enough to sell off or give to someone else.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

Sweet, I wanted to watch this series but wanted to wait until the DVDs were really cheap.

This is a lot cheaper than I thought they'd be

Also works with House and BSG collections, knocking House S1-5 to the $35 range and BSG to $50-ish.

That's what she said

BSG is $45 for DVD and $50something for BD.

I did forget, but I'm not too angry with myself. Figured I had to act quickly and wasn't thinking clearly.

Well, I missed out on House, and it may be because Bing slowed me down. So you likely made the right decision...

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

I told my friend about this yesterday and she missed it, but we got it today! Thanks for the Office tip!

And for me.... Just scored BSG on blu. Haven't seen the show yet, but I hear it's worth the 50 bucks.

Thanks again OP!

Well, since it was working briefly yesterday and again today, how many of us will be refreshing every 5 minutes from now thru the weekend?

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

I just managed to get the DVD of BSG for $40 shipped. Great deal, hopefully I'll get it quick enough to be able to send off for the new packaging.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

Ordered BSG but I am wondering How is the packaging on the set? On amazon it looks like they are in sleeves.. hopefully they are not all scratched up.

I was going to get the office but all the amazon reviews made me nervous with all the talk of some of the sets they got being repackaged with used discs.

I've read online that they need to be postmarked by May 31st. NBC's shipping is 3-7 business days so I'm hoping that it'll get here fast enough and that I'll actually get a response from Universal regarding the replacement.

I missed out on BSG on BD but the set on SD for $40 is still a killer deal.

Damn, nice find Ash! Welcome to the forum.

Too bad the BSG Blu is sold out, I'd be all over that. Does anyone know how long this clearance sale lasts or when that coupon code expires?

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

How the heck do you get the Bing cash back bonuses? I had a camera deal sell out at SD because the key words given were so vague and when I asked for help, some a-hole replied, "Others were able to figure it out because it sold out. I'd explain it, but it wouldn't do you any good." Thanks, pal.

You can sign up for Bing here:
http://www.bing.com/cashback

Then, before making a purchase at an eligible store, you must sign into your Bing account and use their link to access the store's website...

I do have an account and did manage to use it for the Star Trek TOS BDs from Beast Buy, but in this and the other case, I can never figure out how to get the Bing results to include a link that gives cash back. For the SD mess, it was a camera on a store's eBay page and the search keywords were for a specific laptop model and "cheap lcd." Huh?!? It's be like wanting to get BSG on BD and having to search keywords "taco" and "BMW M3." It's just so annoying when people mention extra discounts for BCB and then get snotty rather than try to assist those with questions.
