Win some, lose some. However, good for everyone who was able to get such a great deal...on this and the office.

Mine too, haven't been charged yet either. It looks like I won't be able to do the trade-in packaging for the battlestar galactica set in time for the deadline

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

Just got an email saying mine has shipped, should be here on wednesday. Still have yet to hear back anything from Universal regarding the BSG packaging trade in. Anyone have any advice?

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

I got one email saying BSG BD shipped. I checked my online status, and can see that my BSG DVD also shipped (did NOT get an email though). The Office says backordered, however. And that was the first order I placed... I had placed 3 separate orders...

I assume this is dead now? Ticked I missed BSG.

EDIT: I was looking in the wrong spot. Still OOS. Wonder if that's a permanent thing.

Have you emailed Universal and gotten a response from them about the exchange?

Just got my email back from Universal regarding getting the new packaging for the BSG DVD set. You need to send an email to [email protected] and ask for the set. Going through Universals customer service gets you nowhere. Hopefully the set'll be here soon.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

The DVD40 code doesn't seem to be working anymore for clearance items, so even if The Office or BSG do come back in stock here the deal won't be quite as sweet. Grats to those who got in. I really wanted that BSG set.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

Just got my BSG set in today and realized just how crappy this packaging is. It's near impossible to get some of the discs out, thank god I'm about to send in the flap to get the new packaging

I received mine today too. I have to admit the packaging looks nice but it is very difficult to get the discs back in after removing them. I almost hate to tear the box to get the new packaging.

According to the reply from Universal, you don't need to send the cylon head:

"To receive new packaging, please remove the top and triangular flap of the Season One case included in your complete series set and send it to us, along with the following information and a copy of this correspondence:"

Just got mine today, too. I don't wanna go tearing it all apart until I'm sure what to tear apart. Or since I'm lazy, maybe I'll just live with it the way it is? I guess I'll take a little break from work and check out how bad the box really is.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

What exactly needs to be sent in? Just the flap from the season one set of discs or the top of the box all the discs are in? Does anyone know for sure?

Did you read my post from 15 minutes ago?

This may sound like a stupid question, but since I didn't receive it yet, I don't know what it looks like, and the wording sounds strange. Are they asking for a top flap AND a triangular flap, or is the top flap triangular? If the latter, why didn't they just say "top triangular flap?" The word "and" makes it sound like they want two things...

All that needs to be sent in is the flap from the season one box. They say top because they also want the top of the season one box as well. They do not want the top of the whole series set, that part doesn't even come off. Repeat, Do not send them the top of your complete series set! They just want the flap off the season one box, the whole flap, up until where it connects to the disc holders. Sorry for repeating so much, but it just seems that no one understands.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

If anybody got that BSG set just because it was cheap and not because they actually want it, and wants to be an absolute saint and sell it for cost + your time + shipping, I'd love to take it off your hands.

I guess it does help to know what they look like.
The Season boxes inside are square and have a triangular flap that seals via velcro. They want you to send in this flap including the portion that forms the top of the box from Season One.

Re: The Office S1-5 set for $25.99

for anyone who just got BSG and is sending away for the new packaging: if you were otherwise just going to throw out the old sleeve boxes for seasons 2-4 once your new packaging comes in, please PM me--I'm trying to get a hold of some of these. Thanks!
