A question for to the group.
On May 22nd, 2007 Best Buy had an exclusive for "Roots: 30th Anniversary Edition", a bonus disc.
What was on that? Did this come with a slipcover?
I did some research into the box set, "Roots: The Complete Collection" (October 9th, 2007); 1) it's poorly conceived, packaging (discs come out badly scratched). 2) This box has an exclusive bonus of its own, "Roots: The Legacy", a two disc extra.
Was 'Legacy' part the Best Buy exclusive?

My pleasure. I don't buy them anywhere as much as before either, but that's because I only sought the ones packaged with DVDs only. Most of them are with Blu-ray combo packs or Blu-rays only.

And a title came into resolution - "Stage Fright" (2014). I recalled a few months back that it was coming to home video. The question was... when?
Looking about online I found my answer. It already came out; last Tuesday.
AND that Best Buy has an exclusive bonus disc. I don't remember seeing that in the ad.
So I pulled out the weekly advertisement (legacy project) and jumped to the media page...
squat
As it turns out this exclusive is an unadvertised release.
I went to my store yesterday and searched to no avail. I asked for assistance. There are six DVD copies (it's also on BD with bonus). But where? Their inventory said it's there, but its actual location is unknown. I had two clerks helping me.
I was told to come back the next day, Tuesday and ask one of media stockers who put out the new titles. Maybe the shipment was misplaced.
Which I did.
It was found.
$12.99 DVD.
The exclusive tag isn't a sticker, it's printed on the wraparound; first time I've seen that.
The bonus disc has a run time of 11:46 minutes. There is no slipcase.
There you go.
