Sad for me.. I went there on my birthday.. and even with my 20% off + the 10% off coupon, there was NOTHING that was cost effective enough to buy. Yes, they did have some items I wanted.. but even after the % off, the items were still more than what I would pay elsewhere... and my local store has not gotten in much in the way of used Blu in quite some time... but hey.. the next 30% or 40% off coupon for used items comes out.. and still make my Backstage Pass worth it again.... I hope....

A guy in the Ann Arbor, MI store told me that, if you're a Backstage Pass member, you can inquire at the register about what the (e-mail) specials are, and apparently they'll give 'em to you.

I did just that and they told me, "I dunno."

Thanks to WTK for the postings. Between Backstage, the above coupon, the in-store sale, and the increased trade for Blu, I got some tremendous deals on used CDs.

That everything on sale ad looks interesting--anyone check it out yet? Just wonder if it's one of those sales were most everything is 10% off with just a select few items at 40-50% off. The closest FYE to me now is 20-30 minutes away so I'm curious to know if it's worth checking out. Anyone finding some deals?

At my store, video games were a whopping 5% off. I was very underwhelmed by this promotion.

From what I could tell, there were no longer any "on sale" sticker prices. Some stuff was way more expensive this way then prior... for example, Planet of the Apes Blu/DVD combo was 9.99 prior to this sale and is now 20% off 19.99 (15.99)... so definate YMMV..

I did find out that used DVD and used Blu are 30% off.... plus 10% for Backstage Pass.. Unfortunate thing was there was nothing I wanted... again...

Are you sure used Blu were 30% off? My local store is having the same sale and all Blu, new and used, are only 20% off.

Can't say I am sure. I asked an employee and that is what they told me. But considering I found nothing to buy... I wasn't able to validate the comment.......

The Plaistow NH store will be closing its doors on June 24th. I saw 20% off all DVD, Blu-Ray, & CD. 40% off of video games. Everything is being cleared out.
