Based on reviews for this store, they have lot of problems getting products out at their regular prices. They often cancel orders. They are unlikely to fulfill these. This was posted on dvdp 24 hours ago.

Several times (not in the past 2-3 years, for obvious reasons) I placed orders with them .......and NEVER had an order filled. They have earned a permanent place on my IGNORE list.

I placed an order before thinking to check resellerratings.com. They have a six-month rating of 2.5/10 and a lifetime rating of 1.09/10.

This is what it said for me. But since I've never used Ecampus before, I plonked down a little extra for "Standard" shipping w/ Insurance & Tracking.

I hate registering new accounts, but just figured I'd give it a shot. I still prefer when stores offer payment via Paypal or Google Checkout.

The checkout process seemed quite similar to DeepDiscount. Even comparing my printed order conformation to a recent printed DD confirmation, they both have on the bottom right of the page that annoying "Click here to claim your $10 cash back/rebate." Anyone know if DD & EC are connected in any way?

Anyway, everyone posting to this thread who's placed an order, let's keep each other posted on our order progress. It sounds like we're in for the "bargain-bin uncertainty" commonly experienced with oldies.com

why do they do this? Do they charge your credit card at time of order? if they don't, then I don't understand their motivation for putting up a website to sell something they can never deliver..

As long as they don't charge my card until after shipping, I don't see the problem in taking the chance.

I received an order confirmation e-mail. The status has also changed on my order. This morning, all items showed a status of "Submit". They now say "On Order".

SUBMIT - We have received your order information, and are attempting to gain Credit Card authorization for processing.

ON ORDER - During this stage of the order, we are attempting to receive your items from our Off-Site Distribution Center or Supplier, and ready these items to ship out to you. Please keep in mind that it will take the estimated shipping time listed on the website before the item will ship from our Distribution Center.

Many of the TV show seasons have gone back up in price now. The ones that haven't, are OOS and can't be ordered. Many of the OOS items can still be ordered apparently. I haven't tried, but you can add many of them to your cart still...

I ordered one item earlier today, I got confirmation email, and my order status is "Confirmed". I went back to check a couple other items that look interesting, but even though it still shows the ridiculous prices, it says "Currently Not Available" on the item page. It also shows this for the item I ordered earlier, so I would guess that this is some glitch that they are in process of fixing.

Just did a run-through. Everything but Babylon 5: Season 2 and Baseball has gone up in price or is currently not available.

I received an e-mail confirmation and a rebate e-mail from Bing Cashback, but I still doubt that my order will go through.
