Re: DVDs at Rite Aid
I found Traffic: Criterion Collection for $9.99, but there was a mark through the UPC code. I hate myself for not getting it, but I didn't have the money to get it. I hid it in the back of all the other DVDs there. Hopefully it will still be where I hid it when I go back there later this week.

The Traffic: CC was still where I hid it. Here's proof:

A store I didn't know had anything really worth getting...I guess I confused them with Walgreens, who used to get good stuff, and went way downhill, and haven't bothered with in ages(of course now someone will chime in with all the great stuff they have gotten lately
)
For $3.99 saw
Day the World Ended/She Creature
Pretenders - Loose In L.A.
Marianne Faithfull Live in Hollywood at the Henry Fonda Theater
South Beach Academy/Rock 'n' Roll High School Forever
For $5.99, saw...
Money From Home Starring Martin, and Lewis
Houdini (1953)with Tony Curtis
daring young men in their jaunty jalopies (Tony Curtis again)
King Of The Gypsies (1978)Starring Eric Roberts
Just nice to see some titles I haven't seen everywheres....

Re: DVDs at Rite Aid
Well, decided I should see what they had again, and one store had quite a few Classic TV series (and two stores I went to afterwards didn't have any!) Not super cheap,(Mainly 12.99 , a few were $14.99) but close to what you might pay from Amazon, and a few cheaper than you could there. Saw Alfred Hitchcock Presents, S1, Perry Mason S3 V2, and S4 V1, Mannix S5,(best deal I saw) Mission Impossible S4(or s5) Dynasty, S2, saw a couple seasons of MASH, Cheers S 2 and S 10, Final season of MacGyver, and some other shows I can't think of now....Just nice to see some older shows that I rarely if ever see in stores....

Re: DVDs at Rite Aid
I just scored a copy of the Honeymooners yesterday at Rite Aid, so there are still copies floating around out there for anyone interested.
I'd love to get the upcoming restored Blu Ray set, but it's out of my price range. For $15 the DVDs are good enough for me. Can't wait to delve into this classic show, many episodes of which I haven't seen before.
The only other good find I saw at my Rite Aid was the Human Planet BBC documentary for $18, which is also a cheaper than Amazon.

Re: DVDs at Rite Aid
I guess I need to hit some Rite Aids again. Last few months, when I come across one that I haven't been in before, I tend to find a very small selection, or no dvds. Can't imagine they sell well, as they normally hide DVDs(and cds) on a wall so close to the registers, and employees, you feel like you shouldn't even be that close to them. At least I do...and they get dusty.

Re: DVDs at Rite Aid
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is selling for $8.00 with Wellness card.
Got curious and tired to price match it at Wal-Mart, they said no since it requires a membership card. I gave it a second try at another store. The clerk said it was a good deal and price matched it, eight bucks. A good deal.
Might work for you too.
