It will likely never be 'confirmed', like many, many things regarding exclusives. Unless their computers are programmed to make it free with the BDs, it will be YMMV.

One of my local stores had no copies on tuesday and the sign that apologized for some stores not getting the minimum of 3/store.

Well of course that is confirmation. Didn't know about it when I posted obviously, and the ads are usually more ambiguous. So the question now is whether it is free with any other version besides the BDs.

Sorry, Trevor. I guess my response was more in reference to your previous comment about it not mattering what the ads say. I would certainly argue that it's pretty specific that you get the book with the BD (assuming they still have stock, of course).

Let's not forget Best Buy's 3-month exclusivity on selling the Vengeance trilogy (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, OldBoy, Lady Vengeance - both DVD & blu-ray versions) and in a tin, which is also exclusive to BB.

No need to apologize, I was a bit snippy, sorry. I guess I just never take anything for granted at these retail places. What the ads say can be different from what the employees say which is different from what the end cap/aisle placards say which can be different from what the computers say. So I just prefer to think of everything as very YMMV. I always get my way, a mixture of confidence, insistence, and politeness always works in my experience; but I never know what they will try to do when it comes to these promotions and what everyone else will encounter.

I just found out that FYE will have an exclusive packaging for their release of "New Moon". All I know right now is it will be a Limited Edition Ultimate DVD Keepsake case. I may hope to have more info tomorrow after I go there. From what I saw it looks to be a special case that the DVD slips into and 6 picture cards. I'm figuring it is available for standard and Blu-ray. Will update.

I've seen discussions around the internets about the Vengeance Trilogy Best Buy Exclusive. No pics or verification, though. Has anyone seen this?
