I guess BB's gonna have a Halo Legends blu-ray exclusive steelbook on the 16th - and I think it's going to be similar to the Hurt Locker one, where the steelbook for the blu-ray is dvd-sized, and no steebook for the dvd. And I think it comes with some insert - some Halo encyclopedia or something.

Good point. I did not know there was a stand alone version. I guess Walmart is the only one who has this? I did not see it available anyplace else via DVDPricesearch.

I saw Halo Legends film cell with the 2-Disc Deluxe Edition at Target, but it was sold out of the Blu-ray already so I don't know if the other versions had it. I didn't see any single disc versions marked with the film cell.

Anyone else know?

Been a while since I've been able to check in here, but I've been keeping an eye out for exclusives as always. Amazingly, every one I've spotted has been reported here by someone else... all but one! At least I THINK it went unreported, since I don't recall seeing it on Trevor's list. It was at a rather prominent retailer so I'm surprised nobody else posted about it.

Anyway, the latest Harry Potter release from a few months ago was available at Wal-Mart with an exclusive map of some sort (I think it was called a "Marauder's Map"). It came in one of those side-by-side configured packages, in a box as opposed to being merely shrink-wrapped. I think this was only available with the single-disc release, an annoying practice at Wal-Mart of late. I'm still seeing it at my area locations so it should be out there if people would like to find it.

Okay, that's all I have to add for now. My thanks to everyone for holding down the fort while I've been away. Oh and Xage -- thanks for the peek at the Transformers poster I was asking about back in October!

Speaking of which, does anybody happen to have a photo of the promo button Best Buy was also offering at the same time?

i do believe the promo button of which you refer was a midnight opening freebie at select bestbuys for transformers. it was not a regular "exclusive".

and re halo, i do believe the tarjay exclusive was only available on the 2-disk se. not 100% certain, but there was no placeholder for a blu exclusive at my local tarjay. in any case, if anyone has the litho, a pic would be appreciated :D

Welcome back Ajay! Yeah, I saw that Walmart package, but since I rarely buy exclusives anymore, forget to post about them by the time I made it home. Back when I bought everything it was much easier to keep the lists up-to-date. If I buy a bigger house I'll go back to that model.
