I'm done... Spent the time and gas to drive to Mt. Sterling (KY) this evening for dinner...

A shit ton of the usual; New Scooby Doo movies, West Wing S2, Nip/Tuck S4, Dukes, History of Rock, etc... Nada of the rare/wanted or ER (my goal).

I'll check locally on Sunday but I've pretty much covered central KY (minus Frankfort, which I scrubbed after my dinner this evening - same titles in 5 stores so far - no reason to think differently about Frankfort).

Been a lot of fun though! And boredom.

The local stores finally got some stock!

Hit two stores right at the end of the day. The first had a few things scattered in among the wire rack and cardboard stands, lots of OC S2, various Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas S1&2, Scooby Doo, and Nightmares & Dreamscapes. I wonder if they might have more but are waiting for space to open up...

The second store had an ENDCAP of the box sets. I'm glad I took a look around before giving up. The wire rack did have Smallville S7 Blu (I bought 2 of 4), Life Goes On S1, and Roots 30th Anniversary. The endcap, however, had more than I can remember. I found the very last Pinky & the Brain Volume 1 with floaters - bought it anyway in case I can't find another. Plenty of Animaniacs V2, but only a couple V1.

The clerk at the register said they had sold a LOT of DVDs today, and they just went out this morning.

I have one more store to try tomorrow, where hopefully I can snag the other Pinky & the Brain.

Vegas started putting out the new stuff first. Of course, no BDs of Nip/Tuck or Smallville; but I picked up Seasons 1/2, 3, 4, 7, and 9 of Dallas. Went to most of the Big Lots this evening around town, but didn't find the other sets of Dallas.

Oooh, those are new! Was MPD Psycho the complete set (three slimpacks) or just two episodes.

This is the exact assortment that all 3 of the local Wichita, KS stores have. But, I've noticed when people mention other titles here they seem to show up 2-3 weeks later here, so I'm hoping we'll see some of the other titles (Wonder Woman, Smallville (blu-ray), etc).

Roots 30th and the Thundercats 6-disc spotted in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

I'll get back to you later today. No point in wasting a trip based on my fuzzy memory.

Ha. Nice to know there are other locals around. I went to the one in Mauldin this morning in search for Smallville on Blu-ray, but no luck there.

That's a great set for $6. Good find....

Centerville, OH update:
They have Pinky 2 and Animaniacs 2, NO volume 1s. Looks like the same stock as Huber Heights and Middletown.

Knollwood (St. Louis Park, MN.) is down to about 25% left of the WB TV stuff....however they have added an "As Advertised: $6 TV" sign. Remains to be seen if they're be a restock.

Cincinnati, OH (Colerain Store) had about 4 copies of Pinky and the Brain vol 1 and only 1 of Vol 2 but it was bought the same day buy an employee.. Couple of the Scooby Doo's and thats it..

Cincinnati, OH (Princeton Pike Store) had a couple Thundercats Season Two Vol 1 disk 5 and 6 but none of the others. Plenty of Dallas season 7 and 9, Dukes of Hazard, OC season 2, Nip/Tuck S4 and west wing s2..

I might check the other stores around on Monday.. Looking for Animaniacs, Thundercats, and Pinky and the Brain vol 3

Just got back.

Two stores, Colton and San Bernardino, CA.

The Colton one put out their stuff yesterday morning. It's pretty much pick cleaned of box sets.

The San Bernardino store has new stuff, but still no "Wonder Woman" complete series (I did ask). Took home "Animaniacs" vol 2 - that's about it.

Hit 2 stores in St. Louis so far (Lemay Ferry Rd & Kingshighway Blvd) and found some of what's been listed above. Tons of ER & Dallas at the Kingshighway one.
