Ha! Yeah, I only grabbed one copy of everything...

Eastland still had one or two of America's Game, two Kubricks and multiples of Roots, Appleseed and the Hanna-Barbera / Superman sets. Didn't see another IMAX.

Turfland... WW Complete was the only one in the box but pretty much all of the other sets that you have seen in this thread (minus ER - f'in blank blank grrrr) were there. Of note, there were still what looked to be some DVD boxes that had not been opened and unpacked.

Shit, I just picked up Roots and Roots: The Next Generations today and yesterday...now you tell me about a complete set (including all 3) at only $10? Gotta find those receipts! ... my store gets new shipments every Wed so I guess I should check back then.

Just snagged a copy of Blade: The Complete Series at a Biglots I had never been to before.

First I looked at the wire rack and it was filled with the usual Knots Landing, Dukes, Dallas, ER, etc. Didn't see anything so I walked over to the freestanding cardboard display of $3 titles. Didn't see anything there either so I went down a different aisle and right there in the middle of the aisle on a lower shelf next to luggage they had the $6 as advertised sign with the overflow of boxsets from the wire rack. Saw Friends, Roots, Nightcourt, Joey and there it was, 2 copies of Blade. Bought one copy. I moved the other copy of Blade to the wire rack. Put it right up front were folks can easily see it...

You never know where the employees will put this stuff. You really have to walk the entire store as if you were on an Easter egg hunt...

I've only seen Super Friends: Legendary Super Powers - The Complete Series, but no Smallville S6 Blu Ray in the stores I've visted.

Since I was traveling through the area today, I stopped in 3 Other Big Lots...
- Portsmouth, NH - where there was hardly any product
- Danvers, MA - which had only slight more than Portsmouth
- Lynn, Ma - which had more than I've seen at most stores, but still not what I was looking for. Need to find a Wonder Woman: Complete Series, but no luck yet.

Wow, just when I was about to throw in the towel comes the news of the new $3 and $10 sets! Guess the regular visits will continue! Anyway, I went to two Big Lots today and only saw the usual suspects (Night Court, Joey, Pinky V. 2, etc), so I figured I had bought everything I wanted. I have pretty much given up hope of running across Complete Wonder Woman or the third volume of Animaniacs.

I did finally find the Justice League 3-pack, so I will be returning the 2-pack at some point soon.

Never found the Smallville Sixth Season Blu.. but did find Legendary Super Powers... but they all dissapeared as I watched... Fortunate I got one for me... before they were gone...

Now watch... All of us that went to every Big Lots in existance to get all the seasons of Friends... will see a "Complete Series" for $10 after spending $60.. ....... which will be much worse than those of us that spent $12 when we could have spent $10 (and had additional content)...

Thanks for the tip, Zhivago. Is the general consensus that Tuesday/Wednesday is the time to grab the goods? I've traveled to 7+ big lots locations in the houston area looking for animaniacs vol 1 + 2 and P&TB Vol 1 with zero point nothing in terms of luck. I'm wondering if there's a general day for all the stores to refresh their merch.

Of the lots ive hit this week, ive only seen animaniacs and pinky/brain in one store. Sigh, got 1 and 2 PB and only volume 2 of the animaniacs. These were at the Yorba Linda CA lots on rose st. maybe someone will have luck on a restock.
Only found 1 blade in whittier. have yet to see any of those $10 big boxes or Wonder Woman.

Also, if someone is looking for a huge stock of dvds, check out the lots on Harbor in La habra. I saw more unique disks there than anywhere.

wow I haven't gone to big lots since November of last year (it's not very close) but I really want to go look tomorrow after hearing about these sets. I've just sat on the sidelines hearing about the dvds people are finding. I want to take a shot, will post my findings tomorrow.

The IMAX set is so mine if it show's up. My sister will have to get the Kubrick set but I already have them on HD DVD. Does anyone know if the Documentary is available separately or if I should just buy this set for it?

What I really want though is the Hanna Barbera sets. I'm so excited to see if mine got some tomorrow.

well took a big lots tour and heres what i found ...

Van Nuys- Dry ... unless u feel the need to load up on a bunch of season 2's of The West Wing ...

North Hollywood Sherman Way- Meh ... Season/Vol 2 was all to be found here ... i did get Pinky & The Brain vol 2, The Animaniacs Vol 2, The Lakers The Entire History ... all for 6 bucks a piece... a few Joey season 2, OC Season 2, West Wing Season 2, Roots Next Gen,

North Hollywood Vineland - Good... Although they only had a tiny section for the TV sets, it had the best selection... Friends seasons 1,3,5,7, Thundercats Vol 2, Pinky & The Brain & Animaniacs Vol 1 & 2, Joey 1&2, ER Various Seasons, West Wing Various Seasons, Scooby Doo Packs including the Best Of The NEW scooby doo show over 600 min!. if you still wanna pick up some stuff or havent yet ... go to this location ... well worth it ...

probably gonna do one more run at the 3 just to see if they restocked anything

I know how you feel. Aside from good copies of Dallas S1/S2 and S3, I figured I was done. I was on the fence today after finding Roots: The Next Generation. Now I see these $10 sets and can't resist checking daily (especially for the Kubrick and IMAX sets)

I broke down and bought pinky and the brain vol 1 and pinky and the brain vol 2(just one copy of each though as i have learned my lesson about ) since both Rob Paulsen and maurice LaMarche will be signing autographs this weekend at the hollywoodshow in burbank.

Only the following seasons were seen for these series:
ER - S2, S3, S6, S7, S9
Full House - S1, S5
Nip & Tuck - S4
The OC - S2
Six Feet Under - S3
West Wing - S2

These have been seen, but nationwide are fairly rare (I haven't seen them):
Animaniacs V3
Joey S2
Wait Til Your Father Gets Home S1

Now I've got to see if I can find a Roots Complete Collection for $10 before I open my other 2 $6 Roots sets. It kinda makes me afraid to open any of my Dallas and Friends seasons thinking they'll have a complete set for far less soon, but with only 30 days to exchange defective/missing discs time is running out before I have no choice. (It'll be like how Fry's Electronics often magically puts items I buy on sale cheaper 31 days after.)
