^It's the one disc version here.

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2
I saw BOTH versions of Star Trek in the dump bin - my brother went back and bought the two-disc version for $5.
This is YMMV - I went by my local store again yesterday and the 2-disc version was still ringing up $19.98 there. Very weird.

I only need King Kong, and almost bit on the $5 price for the 3-disc. Come to think of it, I'll probably head back tomorrow and pick it up.

Does Wal-Mart price match? Because I have a few Wal-Mart gift cards and I wanted to price match Best Buy's Killers and Target's MacGruber prices if Wal-Mart is more expensive that the other prices.

^Yes. You just need to have the ad in hand.

Are the Lions Gate 4 Packs available online? I was thinking they must be Wal-Mart exclusives - they don't seem to be for sale through the WM website, though.
I've looked for the pack with Slaughter High for a couple months and have never found it. Every store I've been to only has the Leprechaun/Pumpkinhead 2/Wishmaster set. No Reaper bundles either - I'm sick of waiting for anything to show up at any local WM stores.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I found Star Trek: Enterprise - Season 1 for $19.96.

Has anyone noticed that the $5 bin hasn't changed at all in a few months? I think the only new movie they put in in August was The Other Side of Heaven with Anne Hathaway. I did notice the $7.50 films with Denzel Washington, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and a few others, but it's been pretty boring. I'll probably buy Post Grad for $13 and The Other Side of Heaven soon.

I'm awaiting to see what Halloween titles they'll have out this year. When they broke the street date for the latest Happy Birthday To Me release last year for $5 was great.

Has anyone else seen any copies of The Pick-up Artist (1987), starring Molly Ringwald & Robert Downey, Jr.? I saw it a couple weeks back, but was in a hurry so I didn't pick it up..went back a week later and it was gone. There were at least 10 sitting on the shelf when I saw it, I even checked my local pawn shop which I've noticed stocks their shelves with Big Lots & Walmart cheap stuff.
The strangest part is, I only saw it at one store. I frequent 4 Walmart stores.

Today I found a WB 4 Film Favorite set of Steve McQueen titles for $10.
Includes "Bullitt", "Papillon", "The Getaway" and "Cincinnati Kid". 4 great movies for $10.
Also saw a double feature of Disney's "Absent-Minded Professor" and "Son of Flubber" in their original black-and-white versions for $10 as well.

Nothing ever changes with WalMart's DVDs around here. There's never anything exciting, never any exciting sales, nothing ever changes. It's been the same old crap at the same old prices for so long I don't even count WalMart as one of my favorite places to buy DVDs anymore. Hell, Target does a better job than WalMart at having anything remotely resembling a sale on DVDs and even their sales have been lame lately. -kd5-

Anyone looking for "Frozen," the latest from the director of "Hatchet," Wal-Mart's online store has it up for pre-order for $10, which, even with shipping, is still at least $10 less than the next least expensive price I've seen it selling for.
It's a blind buy for me, although everything I've seen written about it suggests that it's a good movie to watch and be creeped out by.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I think that set is a steal for $5. But none of the 3 Wal-Marts in my area carry it. Hopefully when the Halloween mod goes up it'll be in the mix. Hope you guys find it soon.

Yesterday morning I picked up the 2 disc set of Open Range for $5.00. Always wanted to see this film but never got around to it. $5.00 is definately worth it to me for it-

On a separate note, I notice that my Wal-Mart still has Real Ghostbusters volume 2 on the shelves. I keep hoping they are going to put out volume 3.

It had been a while since I went to my local walmart, it seems they got rid of the $5 movies section (unless they are remodeling or something), but did find the "Final Destination" 4 pack
