Love LOST and S3 on Blu was amazing, but I'm not willing to drop $37 per season. I'm too busy trying to see how it'll end without trying to rewatch the last few seasons again!

That's kinda how I feel as well. I had bought S1 and S2 on SD long ago, and got S3 Blu-Ray on a misprice, but I haven't watched any of them (although I did watch the bonus discs). I don't think I want to invest any more money on Lost. Maybe I'll be tempted a few years from now for a complete set, after the series has completed its network run. But I think I'm done buying Lost for now.

But I knew others would jump at this deal, which is why I started this thread, even though I'm passing myself...

hopefully s1 drops to $35... $50 for both sets is a no-brainer.

Damn, how'd I miss this thread bump about the price drop? Anyway, it hasn't been automatically changed for me, so I just dropped them an email about it. $65 for both is great, but for $50 would be a steal. I think if season one drops I might have to upgrade my shipping.

Checked my order history and Amazon has updated my S2 price without any input from me. I also had a Gold box discount applied previously on one of the seasons, so my final price was $61 for the first two seasons.

...and already adjusted. Right now it's sitting at $67.82 shipped for both.

I shot them an e-mail about my gift card. Here's hoping to season one lowering in price as well!

This has happened to me in the past--basically I see a negative amount on my order status, and once the order ships, the balance gets put back into my GC balance.

You can get this dumped back into your account now. All you have to do is go to your order page, then under Payment Information, click the Change button.

Now on the next page, under your default credit card info (don't worry, you're not going to get charged if you paid with a GC), click the Retry payment.

It will reset the lower price/total and deposit the balance back to your GC balance.

I did this, just like you mentioned, and it worked! It was very easy to do. I used the leftover giftcard balance to score South Pacific on Blu-ray for an additional $6.99 shipped! And because I got the $30 discount on my Lost sets the total was only around $54 for the two seasons. Awesome deal.

Lost season 2 has jumped back to $48.99.
Kinda strange how it lowered for only a day.

As regards season 2, not only has it jumped back up to buy, but my already-placed order, which was $34.99 yesterday, has gone back to $48.99!

This is against their own policy of you getting the cheapest price between ordering and shipping. Check your own orders to see if this nonsense has happened to you!
