I wouldn't call it "forcing rules on others" or "getting bent out of shape". It's just trying to be accurate and helpful.

If someone says, "I got title x for $20", the reasonable expectation is for others to think that title x is priced that way somewhere. To later find out that they factored in a B2G1 promotion, or a gift certificate, or it was used, etc is bothersome.

This is most egregious in thread titles of course, but why not be accurate and helpful everywhere? Isn't the main purpose of this forum to help others find good deals? So why only give half the truth when posting your prices?

perhaps if that was your intention I see your point. However some people do get bent out of shape if you don't figure the price exactly like they want. If someone reasons that they got a title for xx.xx amount and you say "no, you are figuring it wrong" why not let them think they got it like that if it makes them feel better. But yes, I've seen people say they got a title for 4.99 after a coupon and RZ certificate and I just think "not really, cause that RZ cert. could have been used anywhere for 10 bucks" but Hey, who am I to rain on their parade?

Finally got around to an order for the Austin Powers set. Too good of a price to pass up. Thanks OP for the info.

i think inetvideo.com is the type of place where in order for a deal you'd have to get about 3 or more movies.
