My packages are starting to roll in.The copy of Three Kings was a total piece of trash. I am really suprised that they buy stuff in the condition it came in. The inside plastic part of the snapper case has all of the teeth broken off of the dvd hub, so the dvd is loose inside, and the packaging art is raw like some one rubbed down the cardboard with sandpaper, and the dvd is scatched like it was used for a cat toy or something, also black marker written all over the case and dvd with someones name. Only cost $1.90, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Almost a week after I placed my order, I've only received one of the items I ordered. The other three are still listed as "in process." Of course, I have already been charged for everything. Hopefully, everything will work out in the end. But in the past, I've had nothing but positive experiences with Second Spin. Keeping my fingers crossed.

drop them an email, and they will likely send you another and tell you to junk the disc you received.

Thanks. I did that and hear their CS is good. I notice that their buying policy is not to accept dvds with black marker scribble on the covers, but scribble on the discs is o.k. Why do people do write all over their dvds? It drives me nuts.

Not right now since they are having problems. You have send whatever was damaged back to them or wait for credit when the full order is shipped. They forgot something in my order today when it was supposed to be shipped (the invoice & email confirmed this). They sent me this reply....

After waiting a week, I'm starting to get 'Cancelled' status on several of my open orders. A few of the pending charges have fallen off my card.

I sent them an e-mail because some of the cancelled items are still in stock, so I don't know what the deal is. This sucks.

Based on your post, I just checked my order status and, in my order of two items, one has shipped and the other has been canceled. The canceled one is the one I really wanted, too...

I have no outstanding orders with SecondSpin, but two with Wherehouse. One order is a preorder and still shows "In Process." The other order has four items and one has shipped with the others still "In Process." I wonder if the remaining three will be canceled also.

1 of my orders shipped, but my 1st order of naruto boxset 11 was canceled. i emailed asking why it was canceled, but didn't get an answer. i checked to see if the set was still instock and it showed there was 1 left so i went ahead and just reordered. sale ends today so hopefully they don't screw us with a bunch of cancels then stop the promo.

never had a problem with them so maybe they are just having issues.

My order for the oft talked about in this thread Invasion was canceled.

6 out of 11 items have been cancelled so far and only one of those remaining 5 has shipped.

I wrote them another e-mail because none of the store credit I used on the cancelled orders has been reapplied to my account. It also upsets me that they had multiple copies of some of this stuff when I ordered - I can only assume that others who ordered after I did got their DVDs shipped.

None of my have been canceled yet. The Promo on the website still says "20% off and free shipping on all orders" so they can't say it could only be used once. I'm hoping my orders are just delayed.

Out of 4 items, 1 had shipped and remaining 3 were in progress. Now all 3 have been canceled. CS is going to hear from me now ...

They canceled alot of stuff from me also, this sux....

my order shipped - it was a small one but both were "last in stock" so im suprised it went through - also it took a while to get shipping confirmation but fingers crossed

some stuff shipped, some in progress, some cancelled, nothing charged to the card yet. if it stays that way, I'll be happy and not make a fuss.

Well, as the OP of this thread, I am sorry there are so many issues this time around. Most of you have ordered from SecondSpin multiple times before and know that this is far and away the exception to the rule. They are usually quite good with their orders and customer service, so I'm really surprised and disappointed at all the calamity with everyone's orders this time around. Here's hoping they get it straightened out FAST and make good to everyone's satisfaction.

So far I got one cancelled as well. One that was Out-Of-Print.

I have two canceled items as well. The rest are pending. Seems odd to me, I've ordered from Second Spin many times and never had a problem before this.

Mine too. My orders are all screwed up, some stuff has shipped, some was canceled and some are still in progress. Luckily my Mr. Belvedere was Shipped a few days ago, that was the only thing I really "needed" out of the lot.

If Mr. Belvedere was the only thing you really "needed", then you have really got your life together.

Well you know what I meant, the only one I would've bought elsewhere for a higher price.

I placed an order for 12 DVDs on 3/12. Got an e-mail the next day that half of them have shipped (still waiting on them). One from the e-mail was marked as cancelled. Now when I log in, two more are showing as cancelled. The remaining 3 still show in progress. The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of communication. I don't ever recall receiving any kind of note saying, "sorry, we had to cancel this item because..."
