I placed an order for 8 used TNA Wrestling DVDs... 1 says shipped, other 7 are still "in progress" almost a week later. I got the same form letter about technical issues as well. I sure hope this gets cleared up, but I doubt I will order from them again after this.

Okay Torchur, you've lost all rights to complain since you just placed another order...lol just messing with ya. I'm thinking about placing another order for a couple of the items that are still "in progress" just to make sure I get them.

So far only one or two of my things has shipped out. Financially it might not be a bad idea if some of my stuff gets canceled since I may have gone overboard, but I'd rather get what I ordered.

Anyone who gets their order canceled needs to send SecondSpin an email. How long have they been operating now? It's ridiculous that this type of a thing is an issue for them. So far I've been happy with SecondSpin but reading about these cancellations is just piss poor business on their part. If you're one of the people that's had a canceled order let them know how angry you are. It may not get anything from them but an automated message and it might waste a minute of your time, but they need to know about how many people they've disappointed.

LOL, Well I just got credit for something they said they shipped to me but when I got the package it wasn't there but listed on the email & invoice. So I had to use my credit when this deal was still going on plus they seem caught up with their problem since they shipped some orders out & canceled everything they didn't have anymore....

I ordered 2 DVDs and I see one is cancelled, one pending. Only thing -- the total for the remaining item is about double what it should be. Hopefully straightens out by the time its shipped and they deduct store credit properly.

I admire your decision-making abilities.

Personally, I choose to be loyal to a company that:
1) provides great prices
2) provides great sales on top of great prices
3) provides great products (USED DVDs that are more often than not in NEW condition)
4) provides great service (how many other companies ship out replacements WITHOUT asking for the original defective ones back?)

So they have the occasional mistake or problem. They generally make good on it.
This time they had some kind of major computer/inventory problem. They're doing their best to clean it up. Everybody with their "I'm never ordering from them again" opinions is being incredibly selfish and short-sighted, in my opinion (which is worth about as much to you as yours it to me, probably).

Companies are going out of business, changing policies, and otherwise struggling to stay afloat at all in this economy. We're talking about a DISCOUNT, USED DVD supplier, and you expect them to be perfect? To never screw up? They have a stellar reputation; search this forum for other threads about their past "heynow" sales to read hundreds of satisfied posts. They're probably dealing in wafer-thin profit margins, as for the most part, we're ordering $5 or less DVDs that they paid $1-2 for and also have to process in and process out, and ship. Wow, big surprise that they might have a computer problem and can't get it fixed right away.

Amazon has a problem? Bitch and moan away. They're big, with deep pockets and lots of business and we expect them to provide great support.

SecondSpin? Give them a break.

The sale starts and everybody jumps on the party ship (whoo-hoo! best sale! cheap prices! 3 orders! 4 orders! I can't stop!). There's a problem and people start jumping off like rats. Stop acting like the ship is sinking. Get some perspective. This is a minor inconvenience at worst.

My orders:
Most of the PS2 games shipped, except for one that was canceled: Star Trek: Encounters (ordered on the 12th).
If you read my earlier post in this thread about ordering the "Canceled" Daredevil PS2 game, that did get canceled; they probably realized it was a mistake in their inventory.
And 3 DVDs were canceled: Batman--Gotham Knight (Special Edition) (ordered on the 14th), Munster, Go Home! (ordered on the 12th), and Best of SNL: Tracy Morgan (ordered on the 18th).
However I did order Justice League: New Frontier (Blu-ray) on the 14th, after they restocked it, and it was shipped on the 16th (not received yet, though).
