I got the same email. The email actually states "2 For 1 Blu-Rays" which got me excited for a second. But I agree, this isn't 2 for 1. That is very poor wording... I didn't find any combinations which I felt were a bargain. They were OK, I suppose...

And usually though Blu-ray are from different regions, they are not locked/encoded and play everywhere. Check the version info. That they are both called "Ultimate Edition" would make me believe they are the same.

Actually I was going to place an order and I did not need to create an extra account for amazon.uk . My original account works fine with uk's site.

I also took advantage of the Amazon.uk offer. Seems like a good deal as long as the shipping doesn't take forever, which other threads say it doesn't. I grabbed Close Encounters as well as I've been eye-balling that for awhile without getting it. I only wish they had Pulp Fiction BR available there

You must have already had an account there then because I had to create one when I ordered Sweeney Todd about a year ago. I know they're separate because my regular Amazon account has GC credit in it which does not show up on the UK site.

Was going to try to resist but couldn't. I bought 3 copies of Close Encounters. $11 is just too much of a deal to pass up. I'm certain I can unload the other 2 for $12 apiece somewhere online.

My Amazon.com account has always worked at Amazon.ca and Amazon.co.uk without ever having to create new separate accounts. I've always been able to log in using the same usernames and passwords at all three websites.

The Blu-Rays sold in Canada are the same as the US. Unless they indicate that they are imports from another region.
