I was at a Best Buy a few days ago, and I asked an employee and he said they were just giving away posters -- the same posters that you can get if you preorder it there.

I'm sure you'll have no problem getting it on release day. I thought for sure that the Iron Man Steelbook would be impossible to find there after release week but my FYE still has 50-70 copies.

Circuit City cancelled my order for the Joker cover. So I will be getting:
Canada, Germany, France Blu-ray steelbooks
FYE DVD steelbook
Target Blu-ray Batman mask
Best Buy Joker & Batman Blu-ray
Batpod
The regular Blu-ray from Warner Bros.

Obviously this is a YMMV but for those who can't wait until Tuesday, you may want to check your local Sears. I passed through one today and they had the SD and BD versions for sale...at full retail price. I'll wait

Seriously though, a buddy of mine works for Best Buy and his store isnt going to be open, but he heard that some of the stores that were going to eb open were going to give away a blueray player or two as well as some copies of the dark knight on blue ray. Take it with a grain of salt, as it is definitely not confirmed.

Will people pay $60 to buy a regular $23 dark knight dvd before the release date at ebay like they did with the star wars trilogy in 2004?
those people have problems.

When Best Buys do midnight releases, do you have to buy the DVD to get the freebies? I really wanna buy the DVD @ Target.
And do I have to call my local BB to find out if they're doing the midnight release? It opened up pretty recently, so I'm not sure if they'd get to participate in this.

This is the biggest release of the year for me and being a Bat-fantaic (main email is Batkruse@___.com) So as a collector, I want to get all the goodies and specials so I am hoping for a consolidated post of all of the specials and which stores they are respectively going to be located at....I don't mind dropping the holiday dough on myself but I just want to know which items are going to "VHTF" and which there will be a stockpile of....Thanks in advance to everyone for the help.
Happy Holidays!
