Thinking about this even more, it blows my mind that they created a package that doesnt even hold all of the discs... Haha, come on, really?

I just got back from Target. They do have content other than the box that is exclusive to Target. Something about 30 minutes of more behind-the-scenes material. I am unsure if it's on a separate disc (4-discs total) or packaged onto one of the others.

OK, I just snuck out to my car and checked the packaging, here's what the sticker on the plastic wrap says:
Target Exclusive Bonus Disc Contains:
* Interviews with the Cast, Crew, and Creators
* Behind-the-Scenes Footage and More
So, I'm guessing that stuff is on the 'bonus disc' in addition to what's normally on the second disc?

Their picture is VERY misleading. Compare the ad to the real thing. The paint job, shading, etc, in the ad make it look very cool. Then you see the plain, bright green, shadeless real thing and it just looks... lame.

The DVD holder looks no different from the Transformers or Iron Man one. I would think it would hold 2-discs just fine. As for the third disc, even if you bought the one that comes in the regular DVD cases, people said the digital copy comes in a paper sleeve as well. Here's more pictures of it, including an upclose shot of the exclusive info on the back:

Anyone get the steelbook yet?

Well, I will still go for the Target one for the Exclusive Bonus Disc. The extra 30 minutes stuff that other stores don't have is worth more than the dvd case.

The dvd steelbook is sell around $40 on ebay + about $10 shipping and not many people selling it. Maybe it is too early.

There is no 4th disc in the Target set, right? The second page of bonus features on the bonus features disc is the 30 minutes of Target exclusives, correct? If not, I have to go back. Already had to go back to CC for a copy of Casino Royale 3 disc WITH e movie cash (one I bought had the sticker but nothing inside). If I have to go out again I'm gonna scream. It does appear from the dvdtalk 3 disc Hulk review that the bonus features on the second page weren't reviewed & I'm thinking they must be the Target exclusives but a confirmation would be appreciated.

If those unreviewed features were interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, then that would be the Target exclusive content.
This is exactly what I was confused about, especially when I opened the case and saw that one of the disc holders were empty, I was thinking to myself what the hell, did I get shorted a disc? But it sounds like the exclusive content is on the second disc.

You got the same thing as me (empty second tray with bonus disc in white sleeve). I'm sure now that those are the exclusive bonus discs for Target with the second menu page of features which were not reviewed by dvdtalk being the 30+ minutes of Target features. Whew, I thought I was screwed again.

I picked up both the Blu-Ray edition and the Target exclusive 3-disc DVD, but now I'm wondering if I should just take the Target DVD back. Has anyone watched the Target-exclusive extras that can say if it's absolutely worth owning twice just for that disc?

For the curious, the back of the box says
"30 minutes of Target exclusive features including:
A look behing the scenes with the cast and crew and
The evolution of the Hulk from legendary comic book character to action film star!"

Personally, I wonder what that evolution of the Hulk part is about. Do they talk more about the comics than they already do?

Why is the second tray empty? They packaged the 2 other discs in a sleeve? I looked at the package using the link above and looks like they put the 2nd disc in the tray, or maybe that person took the 2nd disc and put it in there? I'm confused.

Nope, that's how it's packaged, with one empty disc holder and the second disc in a paper sleeve.

i purchased the exclusive immediately and was pretty excited about getting it. vaven't opened mine yet, and after seeing these pictures, i think it might be going back and replaced with the standard 3-disc.

my biggest gripe is the size of the thing. the thickness is more than THREE standard amarays and that's not a good thing now that i'm trying to condense/conserve shelf space.

anyone check the exclusive bonus features on disc 2? how are they? that's what's swaying me to keep the set, but if the extra 30 min are fluff, then it'll probably get returned.

Save yourself a trip and a scream. There is nothing inside. Look on the back of your sticker. Hopefully you have not thrown it away yet.

I was all for this seeing the ad, but after the photos here showing how lame it looks compared to the ad version, hearing how large it is, and how it holds the discs, I'm thinking I'll pass now.

I picked up Incredible Hulk on Blu-Ray at Target, and when I pulled off the slipcover, I noticed that there was no shrink wrap on the green BD case.
The white sticky label was on the top and the stuff seemed to all be there on the inside of the case (the BD disc, the white sleeve digital copy DVD, digital copy code, and user guide insert), and it looks like it hasn't been touched, so I guess it's fine. Anyone else have this issue?

Was it just me or did anybody else who bought the Target special edition have a problem finding one that wasn't damaged? I must've gone through at least 5 of them before noticing part of the outside plastic was damaged. I finally found one in perfect condition.

I went back & found out that it was inside the sticker. Never thought of looking there. Still had all the packaging so I have my ticket printed out.
