WAL-MART horror display

Wal-Mart has a new section of horror movies including:

New Anchor Bay Releases for $10.00:
Vanguard
Five Across The Eyes
Breathing Room
Bryan Loves You

Also had multi-packs and re-releases with new lenticular covers:
(not sure of the prices on these though)
Psycho 2,3,&4
People Under The Stairs/ Shocker
Dawn of the Dead (2004)/ Land of the Dead
Freddy vs. Jason
Wrong Turn
Bone Eater
Friday the 13th
28 Days Later
Zombie Nation
Halloween 2 & 3
What Lies Beneath

There were a few more titles that I can't recall as well as a few empty slots.

I might have to swing by and check this out. I wouldn't mind grabbing that Psycho triple feature.

Saw the display yesterday.

They had quite a few triple features; one I remember had Carrie, Prom Night II, and one other that I can't recall.

Most of the lenticular cases looked kind of cool.

I've been watching for some cheap Halloween promotions. Unfortunately, a lot of stores still don't have anything yet, or they do, but everythings still relatively high priced. Looking for some $5 bargain displays!

I bought Pet Sematary CE and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (Gruesome Edition) both had lenticular covers, GE was only $7.50.

My Wal-mart had a bunch of movies in the $5 bin that I don't think were supposed to be.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers ('78 collectors edition)
Carrie
Dead-Alive
(I think) all of the friday the 13th movies except jason goes to hell and jason x
There were a few more, but there were a lot of copies of them. They rang up for 10 something and the cashier fixed it for me.

Me too. I missed out on the $3 Bubba-ho-tep at Big Lots and would also like to find Shaun of the Dead for around $5 (even though it's $6.99 at BB right now and if I don't see it on sale soon, I'll just take the plunge and get it.)

PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS / SHOCKER double feature

This would be the only one I want to get, but if it's a flipper or not anamorphic, I'll pass.

I picked it up at Wal Mart for 9 bucks today. It's two discs and the package says anamorphic.

Friday The 13th Part 2 $5
Friday The 13th Part 3 $5
Friday The 13th The Final Chapter $5
Friday The 13th V A New Begining $5
Friday The 13th VI Jason Lives $5
Friday The 13th VII The New Blood $5
Friday The 13th VIII Jason Takes Manhattan $5
& from the new display
Jason X &
Freddy vs. Jason 2 pack $9.96

total before tax = $49.96

Now I just need to order Jason Goes to Hell

I guess paramount is making a new boxest because the last one sucked and didn't have the last 3 movies. Maybe I should return these.

August 8, 2008 - Our colleagues over at Dread Central and CHUD are reporting on rumors from within Paramount that the studio is planning a revamped Friday the 13th box set to coincide with the release of the upcoming remake. CHUD further states that the set will consist of the first eight chapters in the series and exclude Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X and Freddy vs. Jason. No word yet on the features, though Dread Central states that "a lot" is being planned.
Maybe I will hang onto them. I doubt the boxset will be less than 40 bucks. The only thing I would be intrerested in is if it has better transfers and audio. It will porbally just be supplements which I don't give a rat's ass about.

I picked up an extra Bubba Ho-Tep (sealed) in case someone really wanted it. Interested in trade?

I have a sealed copy of Carrie if you want it. I picked it up from biglots. Do you have a trade list or anything?
