At my Wal-Mart they had the display, pretty lame this year, I am hoping they put out more as we get closer to Halloween. But anyway, they had the Psycho 2,3,4 triple feature, and in the aisle directly across from it, they had the same triple feature with a different cover for $3 less. It was in an endcap with a bunch of double and triple features. So if you are considering that one, turn around and you might get a better deal

walmart is a great place to get those double and triple feature sets. I have bought others there. There was one set with all 3 crocodile dundee films. a set of conan the barbarian 1 and 2, prob the best set I bought was one that I think is out of print by now of all 4 lethal weapon films all in widescreen and 1 through 3 being all the extended cuts.

They're going to be the uncut prints which is why I'm holding off.

Has any body else seen Dead Alive in the $5 dump yet? I've been to a few different WalMarts, all of which had plenty Friday the 13ths, but precious little else in way of Horror titles...

I looked yesterday and didn't see any. They had a single copy each of the Friday the 13th Parts 2-4, and 8 in the $5 display in the electronics department.

I didn't go through the $5 dump bin at the front of the store since it's 90% Spanish-language crap, and if I could find anything in it that I wanted it would be beaten to shit.

My local stores have separate English and Spanish language dump bins.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before in another thread but i was at my local Walmart today and saw the Hellraiser - 20th Anniversary Edition for only $9 it was however not located in the horror display surprisingly yet but there were a few copies there along with others in the $9 and $13 section. Nothing else that was put out new was tempting except for Hellraiser 20th for $9 when it goes for $19.99 at best buy.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but my Walmart had Halloween 2,4,and 5 for $5 in the $5 display. Along with the Halloween titles I saw the Psycho trilogy along with Nightmare on Elm Street titles of 3,4 and 5.

My store had pretty much everything mentioned, but they also have a sci-fi section as well. Picked up:

War of The Worlds (Original)
Invasion of the Body snatchers (Original)
Planet Of The Apes (Orginal)
Videodrome (Non-Criterion)
Toxic Avenger: Director's Cut

They were about 7 dollars each,

The also had Starman and a bunch of Star Wars and Star Trek there, I don't remember the prices for those.

They also had Stephen King's It for $4.88

My walmart in UNion City didnt have ANYTHING, which is typical of that store. Pretty much the most ghetto WM in the world probably. Does the new lenticular covers come as slipcases or just an insert in the shrinkwrap?

Where was this?
Permanent shelving or a cardboard display?

This was at the Walmart in Lancaster, CA.

It was on permanent shelfing just like the horror display. I was really shocked that they had Toxic Avenger and made sure to grab that right away.

There's some Dimension Extreme titles in the $5 section now, Nightmare Detective and Buried Alive. I picked up ND, already have BA (which is decent, worth $5). Also picked up The Gathering for $5. Been waiting on a price drop on this one for quite a while.

There were also some more Dimension Extreme titles in the $13 section. They were Wizard Of Gore, Automaton Transfusion (own it, horrible film), Black Sheep (this one was $9), maybe a few others, can't remember.

Saw a horror display at Wal-Mart the other day with a bunch of DVDs. It was a 4-sided cardboard display in with the Halloween costumes and decorations. One side of the display had DVDs... mostly Saw, Masters of Horror, and a few other assorted horror titles.

Not a whole lot of interest to me, though, as I already own most of the titles they had that I would want.

Before you guys buy any Dimension Extreme titles at Wal-Mart, you might want to make sure that you're getting the version you want.

I noticed "Mother of Tears" at Wal-Mart, but it was R-rated. There is an UNRATED version available just about everywhere else.

I noticed this too late, unfortunately. Since there was only one version for sale online, I assumed they'd all be the same version instore when I picked this up on release day.

I've bought other unrated DVDs at Wal-Mart, so why would they not be carrying this one? I'm royally pissed, but I can't return it since I've already watched the thing. It's my own fault for not paying better attention. The back cover is different as well - there is a picture of Asia Argento and it shows a 100 minute running time.
