I eventually did get my sets these prior to last weekend, but I was surprised to find out that these releases were in keepcases with the discs overlapped on each other. Odd considering that I've seen other SWV collection sets that have a giant slipcover. Looks like this is the new way they're doing it.

I remember ordering close to or at the very beginning of the sale, and they said they were backordered and had a ship date of 9.15

So (right now anyway), they're only two days later than they thought when I bought it. Can't blame them too much, but hopping to get them soon. Hoping, I mean. Hoping and hopping.

I've received shipping notices for all of my TZ sets.

I never seen them actually cancel an order, but they can take forever when it is backordered. I bought a Ps3 game on sale from them, and they finally shipped it 3 months later.

Just checked my order for the TW Complete Definitive Collection and the ship date has been pushed back to Oct 7th. Drat!!!

Same here. After that they will be pushed again. Then cancelled. Then they will magically find stock once everyone starts complaining.

I've been through this a couple of times already.

Let's hope not. Can we get Dave from DD to confirm that these are actually going to ship and we're not just going to get our orders canceled?

I friggin' hope they don't cancel and then re-do.

That will screw up the live.com rebates.

Still no word from customer service as to when these will ship, and no word from Dave at DD here.

My order now says shipping "on or about Oct 21st"!! What the .....??

I don't know what DD is trying to pull with this nonsense. This set is readily available and in-stock at all the other online distros. Why is it that DD can't get this back in-stock? Makes no sense.

Barnes and Noble is the only place I can find that currently has it in-stock. Is this set out-of-print?

I would guess that Image was caught a little off guard with how many DD probably had to re-order...just my guess. I purchased 2, 1 for myself and 1 for a Christmas present...so i'm in no hurry since it was a great price.
As a side note, I was amazed how many people were buying these for ebay...I saw quite a few people selling these with the phrase "This is a pre-order item for Sept. 16th"...I bet those sellers are having fun now telling the buyers that their shipment is being delayed.

My order for Twilight Zone Definitive Collection x 2 shipped out today!

Looks like a couple of the HD DVDs I ordered may not get filled. Their selection has dwindled to under 50 titles.

I also got my e-mail today...and just as a note, I ordered almost the last day of the sale.

Noticed the temp charge yesterday and the email confirmation today. Ordered mine (I think) the third day of the sale (I cancelled and re-ordered with the 10% live.com).

Got my shipping confirmation today. My order was placed on the first day of the sale and my live cashback will be available tomorrow.

This is amazing. I feel lucky it took about 3 1/2 weeks for mine to all show up.

I just received a notice from DDD that I, Claudius was discontinued so they cancelled my order. I had paired it with Season 2/3 of the new Twilight Zone which also has not shipped yet. I suppose I'll have to call and see if they'll either cancel TZ, or allow me to pair it with something else from the list (probably has to be the former). I'm disappointed, but with the way the economy's gone since this sale perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. --Peter

WOW, I ordered two I,Claudius on the first day of the sale and recevied them in a couple of days. I BET that an SE is coming ... I BET!

EDIT: I was messing around at Amazon ... yes there is a new version coming out in December with retail of 49.99. May sell one I have if there is an upgrade in quality or features.
