Reg $69.99 - $34.99 w/coupon. Best price I've seen on it.

Amazon has it for $30.49.

Just ordered The Veil (something weird 2 disc version) & Thriller Complete Series for $93.28 shipped! Can't wait to see some classic horror television! Not bad for 16 dvd's!

Damn, the coupons expired yesterday. I just got an email for a free $10 Borders bucks. Hopefully we get another coupon before the end of the month.

33% off in store or online. It's not as good as the previous 40% off but it is better than nothing I suppose.

HA! Even with a freakin' 50% off coupon, Borders can't beat Amazon prices. Why do people shop here again??

I mainly use the coupons to buy anime online. For some strange reason, the list price for anime is 20% less than what it really is on their site. Taking the discount off of the incorrect lower list price, borders.com usually has the best prices for anime titles.

Thanks jwstl. I remembered that they were price-matching now, so I went up there with the intent of price-matching Best Buy's price on The Pacific. The ad didn't have The Pacific pictured and Border's has it marked up to $99 (versus BB's $80 list price), so that idea was ruined. I ended up matching Best Buy's price on The Town (bd) and left with the extended cut for $10 (after the $10 in Border's bucks). Thanks anyways

Because 50% off does beat Amazon on a lot of things...especially music and books. And because they price match local ads. And because as a Rewards Plus member, I get an additional 10% off which, when combined with price matching and coupons, means I can get deals better than even Amazon. And because they offer rewards for shopping there unlike Amazon.

Used the 40% off coupon to get Mystery Team for $10.79. Cheapest price online! Thanks borders.

Not sure. Why do people come in this thread just to rag on the company? It's getting old.

If you don't shop there, why even take the second to click the thread?

You're lucky if they take the coupon on top of a price match. Coupons clearly state that they are to be taken off of the list price.

You're right. I didn't mean to imply I use coupons with price matching. However, I do get my 10% discount on top of a price match.

Thanks, I was thinking all the Borders coupons had dried up. I used it with my $10 Borders Bucks for switching to Borders Plus that had to be used between Christmas and New Years to get The Matador (Brosnan) BD for $1.53 with tax and free shipping. Exactly what I had planned but needed the coupon.

You're welcome!

I was hoping to use it to get the Walking Dead Compendium #1, but the store I went to couldn't find the damned thing. I was also hoping they'd have sent out a new coupon today, but they haven't...I'd love a 40% one, now that I have gift cards and a plus membership...

Yeah, I got The Matador at Borders.com. It's not likely they'd have that in the store.

How did you find that coupon? I can't find any at the usual coupon sites.

I heard a promo while listening to the History of Stern on Sirius.

Are you sure? I applied the coupon and it was accepted but nothing was discounted. I tried multiple DVD and Blu-ray sets and not one was discounted.

Maybe the system is still being updated. I added "24: Season 8 DVD" to the cart and it was discounted to around $25, but another set I added wasn't.

Thanks lordzeppelin! Like movielib, I was thinking we wouldn't see another decent coupon until 2011. I've been looking around and I couldn't find anything better than a 20% off coupon since Christmas so I've been holding off on using my $10 boarders bucks certificate for as long as possible. Now I think I'll stop by the local store after work today and grab the Walking Dead Book 6.

I tried it on Clone Wars season 2 and it didn't take anything off, but I noticed that the coupon says "50% off SELECT music and video." So this might not be valid on everything...
