Just got the e-mail for this coupon.
I also noticed their CD and DVD clearance prices are now listed as 40% off.

My local borders has ALL BD's on 40% clearance, it doesnt matter the title. Picked up about 6 titles so far for $17.99 and 20.99.

It seems to depend on the store. I wnt to one that had everything 40% off except new releases, then to another that did the red tape thing. Of course evrything I wanted was NOT on sale.

30% off any one item (in store only):
30% off Coupon
I am stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place: every coupon is "In store only", but everything on my wishlist is "Not available in stores".

Ditto for me...very confusing. I also saw that they were handing out slips of paper which said that next Tuesday (4/7), they're starting a blowout sale with up to 75% off certain items. I wonder if any DVDs will be included in that sale...?

In all the stores near me, it just the crap they're selling cheap....nothing of any interest is marked-down.

Well I found one item with a red tag on my purchase list. A TV season that they list for $39.99. At 40% off that brings it down to $24, which is about equal to what I can get it at other places online. Now if they go to 50% - 75% I'm in, otherwise I might as well wait for someone else sale.

This is completely ridiculous. The pre-order I made back in January for the Akira BD was shipped on March 17th from Atlanta, GA. From there it went to Grove City, OH, then Belleville, Mi, then to Ann Arbor, MI, back to Belleville, back to Ann Arbor then to Detroit then back to Ann Arbor, then Allen Park, then back to Detroit, then back to Allen Park then back to Ann Arbor then to Detroit, then back to Allen Park and then to Ann Arbor where it is stuck. All of this while I'm in North Carolina. I'm done with Borders.com and probably Borders as a whole.

The exact same thing happened to my copy of Akira. I called Borders this past Friday and told them to cancel the order. They sent me a confirmation e-mail of the cancellation and are mailing me out a refund gift card(I used a gift card as payment). It is ridiculous, but I was able to get it at Best Buy for $17.49. Hence, I'm not as mad about it as I should be. Here's the tracking info for my order-

Nothing too exciting, just 25% off this week. It takes a 40% off to get me in there, considering their prices.

Re: The Official Borders Coupon Thread volume 2 - Updated Weekly
Googled and found this code, apparently good until September:
Description: 25% off the regular price of any one item
Code: IPL1255
Expires: 09/30/09
I tried to find a way to use it on DVDs and save more than I could at other online stores, but eventually gave up. Their prices are just too high and they tack on sales tax, too. Even with the free shipping over $25 and $5 in Borders Bucks that I have, it's cheaper elsewhere.
That said, maybe someone can find a use for it.

A new 25% off coupon that expires on May 3-

In-store only as usual. I did my trick of manipulating the URL to see if there's a 30% off coupon, but that came up empty. There's only a 20% off and a 25% off coupon for this week. This marks the second straight week that the maximum coupon discount is only 25% off. Hopefully they will bring back the 30% off coupons soon.
