I was able to get this at my local store, but they only had 1 copy. One. ONE COPY! There was also only one copy of Superman III and Superman IV also. How can you advertise a sale on something and only have one for sale??

I have left empty handed too many times too even risk going to my local CC (NW Tucson). Shipping was only 1.99 for the Donner cut alone, so probably cost about the same as driving even if they had it in stock. I've waited this long to see it, another week or two won't make much difference.

Yet another reason to hate this company!! I went there first thing this morning, and they had 2 copies of the Donner cut, bought one and openned it....SINGLE DISC!!!!!
I marched back in and grabbed their flyer pointing out it is advertised as a 2-disc. The mouthbreather at the service desk looked in the disc and agreed there was only one disk!! (gee, thanks Dr. Obvious!!) then looked in the system and said it must be a mistake, there is no SKU in their system for a two-disc!! GRRRRRR!!!! I am going to have to go and price match at the other vile blue and yellow place. (Got there after work and a blue shirt slammed the door and locked it!!! )
I am fed up with both these hell holes!!!
Thanks for listening, good luck to everyone in their searches!

The Ruins is $17.99
X-Files: Revelations is $14.99
the $13.99 is only for Superhero Movie. though the bubble seems to indicate for all the new releases in that box but no luck. i wasted a trip because of it and couldn't plead case.

I pull up the ad for my zip code and Superhero Movie is listed at $17.99, with X-Files: Revelations at $14.99 and Stop-Loss / The Ruins both at $17.99.

I go to the Milford, CT. CC and find that Superhero Monie is indeed $13.99
X-Files: Revelations I PM'ed at BB to $13.99
The Ruins: Unrated was $17.99 (although it was in the same ad block in paper ad)
Stop-Loss was $13.99 and also was in the same $13.99 ad block in my copy.
Got the $5 off for buying the Ruins / Stop-Loss (although CC had no $5 off manufacturer coupon like the copies at Best Buy.
The cashier at the Courtesy Desk got the discount right without prompting.
I was denied at BB for an attempt to pricematch all the titles in my CC ad $13.99 priceblock Superhero Movie / Stop-Loss / X-Files: Revelations / The Ruins.
What was matched was X-Files: Revelations
The Ruins / Stop-Loss priceatch to $13.99 + $5 Coupon was rejected because The Ruins is NOT listed as UNRATED in the CC ad. The BB Ruins had the $5 off manufacturer coupon on it whereas as CC's did not.
Superhero Movie pricematch was denied because the slipcase states: Extended Edition (which the CC ad copy does not).

I picked up the Superman II Donner Cut at my local CC tonight. They had three copies, but I really had to hunt for them. (They were on the cardboard Batman/Dark Night display.) I'm looking forward to checking this out. $5.99 is a steal!

I bring this up 1) to let buyers in the Louisville area know, at least, that as of Tuesday they could still get these (but they better hurry) and 2) to point out perhaps a regional difference in the sale and/or an ad problem. Which brings me to another point: I had the guy price-match Target for the "Batman: Gotham Knight" 2-discer and he called up their website price of $20.99. It's only a dollar more than the $19.99 in the ad, and for that I wasn't about to embarrass myself by pitching a fit over it, but still. He opened their website from his register and just looked up the product, rather than opening their weekly ad. What is the protocol there? Did I have a recourse or should I just have been grateful that, nearing rush hour, I didn't have to drive to Target and could just go home?

That bin, as usual, had a printout list of which DVD's were supposed to have been in it, and the regular version of "Superman II" was not on their list.

Always have the print ad in hand when pricematching.
Website prices can be higher or lower than what's listed in the ad.

Was passing by a Circuit City & decided to go in on a lark, expecting to see the empty displays for last Sunday's sale. But found the cardboard Batman/Dark Night display with all of the Superman titles available. So picked up Superman II - Donner Cut for $5.99 after all.
